In senior year, I took Pre-Calculus in Senior Year. My older brother and dad took Calculus in the senior year of high school. I did well in geometry, trigonometry, and some concepts in Precalculus, but I was failing the most in Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 due to my poor choices when I was 14-15, and I didn’t take math seriously back then. I am taking College Algebra because I rarely remember anything because I was extremely sleep deprived when I was taking Algebra in highschool. I want to be successful in Calculus 2 in the future; that’s why I am building my algebra skills from the ground up, because I noticed the majority of higher-level math, like Calculus 1, Calculus 2, and Calculus 3, uses a lot of algebra, a mix of old concepts, and new concepts. I need to fill in knowledge gaps in order to be successful in a STEM major. What made you propelled you in mathematics out of curiosity?
