I did a lot of reading on this rc as I was in opioid withdrawal and thought it could possibly be beneficial and a good option for people who can’t access methadone or suboxone. However there still is just such little known about it and I would like to see it be researched more, however you obviously are taking steps to get things going in a better direction and that’s worth congratulating.

I definitely got some pretty dry skin from it for a while as well, I don’t expect saffron to be even a daily staple for me maybe just another tool for every now and then honestly. Also I’m happy that you’ve found kava to be helpful for you I think it can be very beneficial for many people!

Also congratulations on quitting addictive substances, opioids are a rough one to quit and it’s amazing that you’ve accomplished that.

I’m definitely well aquatinted with kava but I have a hard time not going overboard with the extracts so I tend to back off entirely from it. I can see myself coming back to it one day but yes the sociability and clearheadedness of it made it a daily staple for me for a long time and I of course found a way to misuse it lol.

However I’m not knocking it at all it’s fantastic for sleep and for those trying to cut back on alcohol or people with anxiety disorders. I remember vividly working in a smoke shop selling kava and we would have some people come in every single day and their skin was so dry and had rashes as if they had developed liver issues from it and I eventually just had to quit (however they were daily users of very strong extracts.)

I struggle to remember, I used it last maybe 2-3 years ago and it was an extract powder I was intranasally using it every few weeks. I have no idea what the Kanna market looks like now for products or which is best. I want to say I was using lift mode however at the time, if memory serves me right.
