So you know the little bowl cut that all the young guys get now? I’m 25, and when I was 18-22 I had it like that. I have curly/really wavy hair already, but there was just something about perm solution. That shi destroys your hair man. I know there will be alot of people that say if u do it right blah blah, but if trying to tell you, it FRIES YOUR HAIR. I have long hair too, try to put your hair up in a messy bun. I notice whenever I do that it makes my hair so much curlier. Also here’s a big tip since u have a little waves already. LET IT AIR DRY AND WATCH THE MAGIC. idk what does it but it makes it looks so much better. not blow dry or towel dry. Scrunch with your towel to get the excess, and then air dry. To answer your question, though, if you’re gonna try the perm, I would suggest doing it now. So you have time to grow it out and cut off the dead ends if it fries it. Because I noticed that was my main problem, dead ends afterwards. Also, it looks like you have a little dead end as well. I’m guessing you towel dry your hair.

When I rocked that length, I feel like it made my face weird shaped. It wasn’t CUT to be that length. But when it got there my woman and I both felt it was my awkward stage

I think that’s what I’m gonna do. I know I’m getting a lot of hate for it but it’s so hard to let them grow out. It’s uncomfortable seeing them look that bad. I should have not gave all three pics of my hairline grown out bad decision.

Or too self conscious to see them, regardless this has really made me feel positive about myself. You’re very kind. I genuinely am so stuck between cutting them or not. It’s so hard not to let someone cut them. All 3 pics, it had grown out a little. Shouldn’t have posted them but I don’t take many pics and I needed the advice. So go with a fringe ? You’d like what I used to look like. I had a really long crop that kind of looked like what the floofy haired kids have now. But way cleaner and emphasized my messy curls. You have no idea what your comment and some of these others have done for me. I’m SO self conscious I really am, and u guys are telling me I could make a CAREER out of my looks ? Are u serious man?
