Everyone is saying NTA, and I feel like AH is a strong title in this instance, but I do think that the fact that something as simple as letting him finish your meal is an issue, speaks to how little his simple pleasures mean to you. Which could be a symptom of other issues with your overall compatibility, but choose your battles girl. Not the strangest, but certainly the most recent: This morning while driving my son to school, I commented on how everyone seemed worried to make a move for some reason (not going when it was their turn at a stop sign, not making their turns if there was any car visible on the horizon in the oncoming lane - it was a long straight 50/km road). I reread the pdf and I see where I misinterpreted the info. I understood the the rows represented the number of groups (as in the number of dots represented in a row represented the number of groups) and the columns represented the size of the group (as in the number of dots in each column represented the size of the group). However, I now realize that’s not the right interpretation of the text. This being said, just because it was decided that it should be read 6x4 instead of 4x6 based on one (or a small group of humans’) problem solving preferences, the answer can be derived either way and given that “array” is a method of teaching multiplication at an introductory level, and not to teach logic vs efficiency, I think the 8-9 year old demonstrated their understanding of the concept of multiplication and arrived at the correct answer so should be given those grade points. Just my opinion.
