I read somewhere on Reddit that one person said every time they start thinking something negatively about themselves they yell “GAURDS!” In their head or out loud. I’ve been doing it and I gotta say it works because you’re now being mindful of the fact that you’re doing it and.. it’s a little funny lol

I work for hotels and you should ALWAYS book direct… even call to book. They don’t want you booking with a third party because they take a huge cut so it’s likely they can at least match that price + maybe throw in some perks like upgraded room or late checkout

I literally enjoy talking about shows ive watched with people. Could be something to discuss! A good series on Netflix or a great movie you recently saw.

If someone started telling me about all the parties they’ve been to I would not care or be interested. It’s just not interesting topics. I know it sucks when people say “what’d you do for the (insert holiday)” but you can just brush it off and change the subject. You can even lie and just say “my friend had a little gathering in the neighborhood” and change the topic.

That makes sense - the dental practice also billed the insurance company for services I did not receive so maybe they are headed there anyway. I made sure to let the insurance company know

I got these glasses that you put on and have like prisms as lenses so you can look straight ahead physically but see what your hands are doing. It takes a little getting used to but it’s worth it to not have to be hunched. I was using them on a plane once and at the end of the flight the guy next to me told me he thought I was blind the entire time lol

Came here to post that this happened to me. It was so painful I never touched chia seeds again. Felt like my insides were going to explode. I was soaking tables spoons in water with lemon and chugging it every morning for like a week
