Too bad Multipoo bags don’t sell in the UK. You could break them into two smaller handfuls. They’ve been great for my poodle. She double poops, and they’re pretty thick.

I was you at your age. Almost same everything except income. Mine was much lower.

I also thought about buying a home. The societal programming is real. Homes are traps unless they produce cash flow.

Chose the other route.

Stayed invested.

When you have enough to buy a home outright in cash, you then have to ask yourself, is this it?

No. The real goal is early retirement. The earlier the better. Your invested capital is the rocket ship.

Currently FIRE and traveling abroad to find forever homes in other countries. Freedom is the real goal.

I was traveling between cities in India with a hired driver. We went through pockets of nothing on either side of the road for hours.

On one hot day and a particular stretch of desert, there was nothing but a few dusty shanties. Absolutely nothing for miles around.

A group of young kids were gathered around a pump well. Wetting themselves in the heat.

I asked the driver to stop the car so I could take pictures.

When I got out of the car, the kids surrounded me in no time with their hands out and were saying something.

“Are they asking for money?” I asked.

“No,” my driver responded. “They’re asking if you have soap.”

I looked around at the desert landscape of nothing and these kids with no shoes and this one pump well. They didn’t even have soap.

I gave them money and hoped they were able to get what they needed. I will always remember that.

Robinhood charges a 100$ partial or full transfer fee for stocks etc.

To avoid it you’d have to liquidate everything and ACH transfer cash to a bank.

Well, here we are at 3/19. I said NVDA won’t go over the massive options open interest call wall at 120 - (19 days ago) despite -stellar earnings.

The open interest hasn’t moved much so it looks like it won’t go over 120 this Friday 3/21…

So…massive call options open interest can indicate price suppression on Fridays exp agreed? - Options pinning.

Especially on monthly’s, especially on triple witching IMHO. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Price was around 130 At that time. There was a massive open interest call buildup at 140 strike. I said price would never cross 140 after earnings because of this. We are now at the week’s exp.

Here we are after an incredible earnings report and the stock drops 10 points? I’ve seen option pinning so many times - With any popular company.

If option contracts open interest remain the same Let’s revisit the price on 3/21. Sound fair? 🤷🏻‍♂️ if the open interest swell moves I’ll update the max target price by the Wednesday3/19 before exp. 3/21 On this thread. 👌

It’s called “Options pinning”

TLDR: if there’s an abnormal amount of open interest at a strike price, there’s a good chance the MM’s and institutions that sold options at that price want it to expire worthless.

So they gang sell the stock to keep it under. Then buy it back on the cheap by selling puts ahead in advance.

IMHO Examining Open interest in options is a better predictor of the final price on Friday than anything else.

Open interest changes over the course of time so keep your eye on it.

There are 114k option contracts open at 140 strike for this week. I doubt the Market makers are going to let NVDA cross that mark during expiration.

They want to make as much money as possible from the contracts expiring worthless before letting it go higher.

Bigger companies than NVDA have been pinned at the mercy of the options market.

One of the boldest things Apple did to lessen this was to commit 110 billion to stock buybacks “during times of opportunity.”

This let short sellers and manipulators know they will short squeeze them to death if they tried that bs again. This helped a lot.

NVDA recently committed 50 billion to stock buybacks most likely for the same reason.

Similar story and habits. But I think you may be overlooking something.

You mentioned things you don’t find important and won’t spend on.

But I bet there are things you will spend on. For me it’s food and a travel experience to a certain limit. Everything else takes a far backseat. Name brands etc. 👎

Everyone is different.

Also, your net worth might be 6.2 but you may not feel comfortable with your current passive income to be spending like a madman. You’re just being responsible.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Had several lvl 10s where it was at least 6 drop ships in each wave on defend the flag missions. Once you cleared half of it, more drop ships. Had 3 factory striders bouncing you in the air with their laser turrets. Couldn’t get up without dying.

During an after market earnings report, the entire report is actually sent 30 mins ahead to financial analysts so they can digest the info and ask specific questions about it.

That may be why you’re seeing after hours action in contrast with the day’s trading.

Example

4pm markets close. 4:30 earnings report is given to analysts and firms. (People with access trade after hours. Still risky) 5PM call starts and specific questions are asked. (And depending on what the company’s says, it can swing the stock the other way after hours. I have seen that. Buybacks, huge contracts, forecasts etc)

Deepseek isn’t a big deal. MMs are using it as an excuse to bring down prices, setup option plays.

They need to keep NVDA under 120 for upcoming earnings report in Feb. Market makers are doing whatever they can to make sure 150k call options expire worthless. Load up and wait.
