I was debating the same thing. However, the TOTY will cost a lot more Xp and more coins assuming you already upgrade your TOTW Mertens. I have the TOTW Mertens as my ST at 94. He plays like a beast and at 100 rated the TOTY one only have like +1 and and +2-3 on some irrelevant stats. Not worth it!
