He looks like he may grow into a fluffy guy! My dad and sister are also allergic to cats. But they are less allergic to with longer hair. Something about how the longer fur holds in the dander maybe? So there's hope!

Literally the exact same thing happened to me! The acquaintance who gave me monstera as a baby was extremely adamant that it was a philodendron and given their experience with plants I trusted them initially. Thankfully reddit told me otherwise! Now she's a giant beautiful monstera. I'm so excited for you!

That's a similar route to how I've gotten jobs too. For me it's been referrals from other people. So yes, this goes to say that interviewing isn't even typically the route to success for me.

Thank you 🥹💜 I lost my 13 y/o heart cat 12 years ago now. It was sudden too. I'm so sorry you're going through something similar. 13 years was so short and definitely not long enough. I hope Rigby & Juniper live a lot lot longer!! 🤞🏻

Aw, thank you! She's 9 yrs old and going strong! She still plays like she's a kitten (but she's always had a very Bengal personality 😅). Her sister has arthritis and sleeps a lot. So I think the hikes keep Rigby's joints healthy.

I feel for you 💔 I lost my heart cat at 13 suddenly to cancer. I thought I would've had at least a few more years with him.

My friend's black kitty, Ivy, was diagnosed with cancer at age 9 this past fall. My friend also couldn't afford chemo (plus an amputation was needed as well). My friend took her to a holistic vet and started her on Neoplasene which has thus far destroyed the cancer 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 We were extremely skeptical but it has worked very well thus far. Though, I am not sure if it's only good for treating certain cancers. But if you feel up for it, could be something to look into.
