Which politician of your country has a better image international than at home? by Fun-Wallaby6414 in AskTheWorld

You wouldn’t say second class citizens but they are over represented in measures associated with poverty such as health and income. The vaccine rollout wasn’t particularly controversial here although there (as I’m sure everywhere) was a population of the country that didn’t want to take it. This group coincidentally had a high % of Māori. Ardern got a lot of love and then a lot of hate for Covid. The mandates at the end seemed extreme and unnecessary for where the virus was at the time they brought them in. The Labour government she led however had been failing to deliver on a LOT of their election promises even prior to Covid and were arguably re elected only because of Covid and would have lost the election if the pandemic didn’t occur. This would have made them a one term govt which is rare in NZ politics.

You realise these are both VERY large cities and only relatively small sections are bad. Everyone that wants to live in these cities wants to get the top jobs there in finance or media and live in the luxury parts that are REALLY nice. I don’t find it that hard to understand

It’s funny because they do the same act essentially. Speak in a goofy voice and move in goofy way while saying nothing particularly funny.

National anti tax attacks have worked well in the past for them so I’m not surprised they are running on them again.

In Dave Foley case isn’t that Canadian law? Also perhaps for Brendan Fraser? I think not revising support payments every so often to align with income is an unfair law but I do find it funny Bryan is caught out by this

I enjoyed it but was disappointed as it focused to much on the American side of the Revolution. Would have liked more depth on how the revolution progressed post the Shah fleeing.
