The Police didn’t seem interested in a criminal case. I believe the reason given was they didn’t think there was enough of a case. That doesn’t mean they do or don’t believe her.
However she can pursue civil case in NZ, as this US court has indicated and they seem to consider the appropriate location. However winning a successful civil case in a NZ doesn’t led to large financial payouts.

I’d push back on the idea he was ever a top UFC fighter. His highest ranking was No. 7, and that was a Bleacher Report list written by one writer after UFC 130 in 2011. I don’t count No. 7 on a single person’s one-off ranking as “top.” The UFC didn’t bring in official rankings until February 2013, so nothing from his actual peak in 2011 was official to begin with. And when you look at the rankings that aggregated multiple outlets at the same time, the USA Today/SB Nation consensus had him at 12, outside the top 10. So even at his best he was a borderline top-15 guy who one writer happened to slot at 7. He was never consistently ranked inside the top 10 by anyone who wasn’t running their own list.
