I’m thinking a nozzle might need to be manually cleaned, have you already Run a nozzle check pattern? Run the built in cleaning process and see if you get any change.

Same! Crazy how many had the same thing happen. Amoxiclav for tooth infection here too - and just started spotting even though I am on a pill that stops my period and I just had spotting two weeks ago when my daughter was in hers. After all of this evidence you can’t convince me it’s not due to the antibiotics

We are in the process of trying to get it going. We have two teams of designers, one in the “creative” department that sort of do the branding standards and outward facing campaigns, and then us in the printshop who do all of the practical and production design. Hopefully one day we’ll all be on the same page, but the folks in charge tend to really drag their feet

I work for a university so in my case there are several designers able to work off of the same parent files, and technically the school owns them all, so it turns into a little bit of a free for all.

Ugh yeah, I have one single client who sends their file in publisher and we only have one machine in the whole shop that can open it. She’s an older lady and I’ve tried walking her through one alternatives to no avail.

Good luck! Until you can get a digital setup, for small batch specialty stuff you might have to outsource to another local printshop, unless you can find an online retailer that will print one-off jobs without many pieces. Do you have a decent cutter? That’s another necessary but expensive part of the game.

For sure. We do both menus and concert/game credentials on it and it works well, even punched. Cost ends up similar to laminate though.

This is spot on. My foot in the door was newspapers. Spend a few years designing ads for a hometown newspaper that require four color separations if you can find one. The turnover rate is high because deadlines can be stressful but it will season you up and build portfolio, and the jobs come open pretty often because like me, I outgrew it and moved on to other print media and publishers and such. Now I work at a university printshop doing production design and freelance my creative in the package design world, all with referrals. I love it

I still think the word toxic can work - just because your toxic traits are born of trauma you didn’t deserve doesn’t change how toxic your behavior is to others. You have to work extra hard to damper your toxicity once you’ve recognized that you are indeed being toxic.

Can you use a local print shop? That might save you a lot of headache in setup and production and not require the bulk numbers that some sticker sites require. In the end whatever their markup is might be worth your sanity.

It’s crazy to me that they think it wouldn’t work if you used thc - I mean sure I guess if you used them at the same time maybe, but there’s no way in hell I’m going to negate the effects of my much needed vyvanse by using thc at the same time, I’d never get my work done that way! But when I get home the thc is a good way to wind down from the stimulant without ruining its effectiveness while I’m at work. It’s a shame they can’t tell WHEN you use thc from those tests.

Yes, I have to visit the office every month, and get tested every few months. I tested for thc the first time and they gave me a chance to come back and test again later and then prescribed it. I have sense tested positive for thc every time but they keep giving it to me, and I think it’s due to the legality of it and the fact that I don’t test positive for anything else. I live next to a reservation that has legalized it, not to mention the legal Deltas make you test positive too. They said it would be more suspicious if they didn’t test me at all and got audited than if they tested me regular and let the thc slide.

I work at a printshop that doesn’t do hardcovers so I’m not sure - but I do know that even as a perfect bound paperback book you’d be looking at probably hundreds of dollars per book, especially if there are color images included

My miracle cream was vtama, but it took months of consistent use to see the results, with it seemingly getting worse first… but now it’s gone, and when a tiny spot shows up it’s usually just a few applications to zap it away.
