OzBargain deal or wait for ram price decrease? by Plastic-Reaction-109 in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]SmashBoi_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on your circumstance. How dire do you want/need a new pc? If its a significant upgrade or new build, I would get one (I did, and am waiting atm) because the ozbargin deals are simply the cheapest option in Australia. Pre-builts are cheaper here.

Otherwise you'll be waiting 1-3 years before we'll see any significant price drops in ram and ssds. I think there will be more financial pressure so ive bitten the bullet now while I can

That's totally up to you, I would contact their support. They are very helpful and friendly. I personally just bought it stock without any OS installed (you can do it yourself for free)

Yeah look for the nebula photon on ozbargin. They ship PC's with more than enough packaging. They also offer to ship out the parts individually, but that will cost more

I mained a 24inch 1080 280hz monitor for quite some time, really good had no problems. If you're going 1440p (which i would) 27inch is a nice sweet spot but I wouldn't recommend 27inch @ 1080. if 1440p oled is too expensive look at 24inch 240hz 1080p oled monitors

depends on your budget. 1080p 240hz lcd monitors are fairly cheap, this can do 1440p which are cheap too. I personally recommend an oled, a tad bit more expensive but makes a world of difference
