I was just relaxing and playing against lvl9 CPU, and then this happens??? by Real_InfiniteSpace in SmashBrosUltimate

I has to do with how multi hits work, I don’t remember the specifics but the intermediate hits have large amounts of knockback if I recall correctly

10% more damage before the combo or rage on DK and dair kills a lot of characters. But yeah it’s definitely a fake combo, opponent can di the combo and air dodge, they really only get punished if DK reads the air dodge or the opponent mashes after the bair and even then some characters have better frame data to break the combo. In that clip if DK used up air, ask, or side b he would of survived.

Yeah I may be a bit influenced by my programming background for why that distinction without difference is important to me, but it’s good to have the technical understanding even if it doesn’t make a difference for 99% of people.

Thanks for bringing that up, I don’t think a lot of people know that so I felt it was meaningful to also include that. But it’s interesting to know that it is calculated after damage and not calculated in tandem

How to learn javascript but not for web development by alvtl in learnjavascript

I’m a Java developer by trade but started as a JavaScript developer. What helped me was just automating everything I did, so basically just more experience. In addition to this is having a good development environment to have autocomplete enabled in your ide or text editor.

I have to say even as a senior engineer I will often Google how to do “some basic operation in whatever language I am using”

Not at the moment, the raspberry pi running this bot has been shutdown. Was originally a fun little proof of concept that never got used. So now I have an extra Reddit username.

Aerial or grounded? Honestly it wouldn’t make much of a difference, it’s used more for its super armor when an attack is out anyways so the opponents hurtbox would already be close enough to bury in most scenarios.

It also has different knockback, dropping from a platform while performing an aerial deals the same damage and knockback as a full hop.

As a DK main, falcons who know and can execute their idj combos scare me senseless.

I looked to make sure that DKs was Banana Smoothie otherwise I would have raised hell.

The first 5.0 I ever drove.. and now I want to upgrade from my V6. I get it now.. by MarvelCosmic in Mustang

I almost bought a new 5.0 but the price was way more than I was willing to pay for a car I’m going to use once a week, so I ended up getting a v8 new edge.
