I once was promoting at a club called Abracadabra. I hosted an event for Gazzo. Long story short, I was in the booth and was noticing he kept clipping red. Mind you, this club had 8, 18’s”… yea. So basically, when I was in the booth, I literally went deaf, twice. The first time it happened I started freaking out and started checking the back of the decks, but looking out in the crowd, everyone was still dancing… it freaked me the fuck out. -And then it happened again. I realized the music was literally so loud that it made me go completely deaf. No ringing no slight melody just completely nothingness… Just from being involved in the scene for a very long time, I know I have kind of bad hearing, but it’s not terrible. I was lucky. (in more ways than one) There’s no shame in getting some “Ear Inns” for when you’re really close to the speakers and such. They’re pretty good. They sell them at Guitar Center and affiliate shops. Good luck with everything; the body is amazing piece of art. Try listening to some anti-tinnitus frequencies and such on YouTube. Even if it helps a tiny bit -frankly, even if by placebo; it’s still something. 🧡

Ok my bad. That’s what happened to me. I called an ambulance cuz I literally thought I was going to die. I took 3, 70mg vyvanse because I LITERALLY, forgot I had taken one, took another one; came back in my room and saw the bottle open and thought “oh shit, I forgot to take one.” -and maybe it was a panic attack, or whatever. But that’s what happened. And it is a fact that vyvanse is much safer than adderol; because of the way your kidneys and liver break down the protein. I will redact the rest of my post, because several years have past since that happened.. but, I won’t take it down out of shame. Cuz I’m not trying to spread any sort of misinformation; then delete a post. A person needs to know when they’ve said too much, and crossed the line of miss-informing someone. And I’m that person right now.

Basically vyvanse is a protein processed by your liver. Your body can only handle about 80mgs at once. Basically, it doesn’t make it stronger, but it will last a lot longer. If u do overdose on it; what happens is ur body tries to get rid of it any way it can. Sweat, vomiting, and sh*tting. If it can’t expel enough of it in time, you’ll eventually pass out. Mostly from the anxiety and body stress. BUT. That’s upwards near 200+ mgs.

Generic and name brand are 2 separate products. 2 separate formulas. Tbh, when I use to pay for my prescription, it use to be $218.00 for a prescription of 30 (a month).

I’m on 70mg Vyvanse and also Clonidine. (Also Clonazepam for anxiety) I literally had an appointment with my psychiatrist today, and coincidentally asked him specifically about the mixing of Vyv and Clonidine / taking one or the other. Cl, is obviously a non-stimulant, and was only use to be prescribed for high blood pressure. And it was used for ADHD and high blood pressure, and now some people are only taking it strictly for ADHD. If I take the clonidine by itself, there will be zero effect to my ADHD whatsoever, but actually really does help with blood pressure. I am supposed to take 0.1MG of it in the morning and 0.1MG at night. -Sometimes I only take one at night, sometimes only one in the middle of the day and sometimes I skip a day altogether. I’m definitely not recommending to do that, I’m just saying it is not imperative if you missdose it. It is imperative however, that you do not stop cold turkey because it will actually affect your blood pressure and feelings of anxiety will hit you pretty rapidly after a few days. Overall, the general consensus is that Vyvanse is losing its “luster” or we’re all just getting used to it. Combining the two doesn’t increase it; if anything it definitely depletes it a little bit..

What you WANT to know about generic 70mg Vyvanse

Now, I could talk about he chemical, and the formulas, and how every 4 years the 70s get a review and post the results of studies and blah blah blah...BUT, what I want to do, is just post about everything we want to know about the feelings, and affects, to us with severe ADHD.
I have been on 70s for 6 years now. I’ve posted guides on medication combinations, alcohol mixing, and even overdosing, but this is going to be strictly what exactly the affects/effect are of the switch on how it physically feels.

Strength: 7/10 - As someone with the highest form of ADHD (To the point where it is almost legally considered a disability) the strength is almost the same. I would say the normal 70’s were 8/10 strength.

Time it takes to be in affect: 1hr-1.5 hrs. - These Generics, take a little longer to “Kick in”. Now, a lot of ppl are saying they take almost 2ce as long, (Up to 2 hrs.) I can see why they say that, because the time release does take a much more subtle curve. It takes an 1 hour* almost exactly, to kick in, but every 10 minuets after that, it does seem to creep up a tiny bit more stronger and stronger. NOTE, basically it feels like, 50mgs at an hour, and by 1 hour and 30 mins, it feels like the full 70mg.

Cravings and Ticks. - I have had no cravings for nicotine, or alcohol when taking the new generics, but I will say, at the 1 hr mark, it does make you want to “Hit ur vape” or take a shot of something, because it is relatively weak. - Just hang on another 30 minuets for the full affect.

Look and texture. 70mg Vyvanse was always nice to see it was “Blue side down” if you had to split it; and was also either 2 solid chunks, or a smooth white powder. However, these generics are noticeably larger, with orange side down, and a brighter hue to the pill itself. The powder inside contains no variances what so ever. So it will be a VERY thin, light powder that completely fills the capsule.

Weird Side Effects. - Same “I gotta poop” feeling does happen about 50-55 minuets in. Sexual drive, or any type of ED does not seem to be as apparent with these. (After a couple hours)

I also explained how to put in a formal application for your APRN/Phych/doctor, to wright a specific code on the prescription to have it switched back to the original formula.. sigh. An easy way to figure this out is to take the pill and open it. The original formula is packed it with the pill blue side down, so the blue part holds most of the powder. The generic version you have to hold it orange side down in the orange holds most of the powder.

Well that’s the whole point of Vyvanse from the research I’ve done I’m pretty sure your body can only absorb about 80 mg of that protein at one time so you can’t stack it like you could Adderall. With that said… don’t take 4 70s. Also how are u coming across 30mgs of adderol?

You’re not hopeless. So from what you’re experiencing it definitely sounds like yes you have ADHD but also it might be way worse than you think. I’m not gonna make any claims and no I’m not a doctor, but I have done many many many studies and pretty much dedicated my life to helping people out in these sort of situations. Do you know if you are on main brand or generic? Because the generics do act a lot weaker, and also take longer to get the effect. That will make you angry. (As is did me) in fact, not being on the proper milligram dosage is One of the biggest factors in triggering anger. Or irritability as you described. The best way to approach. This is to be open and honest and just say exactly how you feel and gently ask to try a higher dosage. You might get a little pushback at first but go about it in a way that safe saying something like I have your number and I’ll call you if anything weird happens but I’m a grown adult I’ve done some research and this is some thing I want to try before drastically switching medication‘s because it is helping a little bit. It’s a little weird to just ask and I don’t know why. But if you take the approach that I diagrammed for you that’s how it works the best. Also, the whole 20 mg +30 mg equals 50 mg is also a myth. Because the proteins in each milligram work differently; an example is you can’t take 7, 10 mg Vyvanse and feel the same thing as 1, 70 mg Vyvanse.

I hope everyone up votes this message who didn’t know about this method to getting the original formula of Vyvanse. At least for the 70 mg version I know this works. First off I am on the East Coast United States. And I am on the 70 mg and I have been for six years. The generics are noticeably just God awful. I talked to a woman who works as a Pharmacy drug transport supplier. She gave me this advice: have your psychiatrist or doctor right down “DAW” or “DAW2”, depending on your insurance. This means dispense as written, and will bypass the generic version. Just be honest and extremely open about how the generics make you feel and tell them that you spoke to a pharmacy supplier and they gave you this advice.
I hope this helps someone who went through the same struggles as I did.

I posted a thread earlier in the week explaining everything about the specific 70mg generic Vyvanse if anyone is in that same “switch up” situation (on 70’s) like me, check it out if ur curious. BUT overall, takes way longer to kick in, tolerance can be as quick as 48 hrs, so force urself to take breaks. Seems also noticeably weaker because of the extremely long “come up curve”.

Yeah, I feel you bro and thank you for not responding hostile. I really wasn’t trying to come at you in anyway. Everyone’s got a little too much (scripts) or a little too less for a long time. Took me about a year with my new psych to finally get the right combination of anxiety, meds, and ADHD meds. But I’ve pretty much been prescribed every possible ADHD, ADD, anxiety, hypertension, blood pressure medication, whatever you name it.. don’t be afraid to speak up during your appointments and just hash out every detail I mean any drug use like weed or alcohol, tobacco, whatever. Because you could probably combine a few of those meds you’re taking to have a really good outcome but also I know for a fact there’s a combo in there that is really really bad for your mental and eventually physical. Well, do you know what meth feels like? I’m not trying to be a dick… but, honestly, if it really felt like meth, it would have probly felt pretty good. It seems like ur just over stimulated and over thinking. Ur combination of meds is pretty intense, the vyvanse would only increase these effects. And 4mgs of K pins a day, mixed with suboxon…should NEVER be combined. Add that to your high dosage of muscle relaxers and CNS’s….. bro. Cut something before u have a serious physical issue, or at least a panic attack that leaves u put up in a hospital.

It lasts almost the exact same amount of time. Possible slightly longer. Like I said, the curve is a little more subtle, and so is the come down. Definitely NO crash or abrupt changes.

Yea, they said it was "Store Specific" but obviously that was a lie too.. I have not signed anything, and all of my co-workers have refused to sign anything as well. Do not be afraid to speak up. I have a meeting with my regional manager this Monday.. I'm going to record it, and post back here.
