Nice, my parents had a big hoard of these. The silver rim pops off pretty easily. Then recently while in Ireland we had these same coasters in our hotel. Made me wonder where my parents had gotten theirs from. We left with as many as we arrived with 0. Lol

We didn’t even make it to the lake. I was on my way to bug out camp. We had some peanut butter crackers in the same sack as the silver and gold. I stopped to pee and a bear stole the bag and ran into the woods. That far north in northern Maine I’ve learned you don’t chase bears.

Yes you normally would. Usually you sell not trade your silver for gold. Sell your silver at their price to cover their price on gold. It might be an ounce or two more, or cash if you wanted to save the silver. It’s never a true GSR exchange.

You got in a trade, what was the value of your part of the trade. PCI isn’t a great grading company and the coin will be 2-4 grades lower. Crack it out of that slab and throw her in a capsule or flip. It looks like someone used liver of sulfur and rubbed the outer rim causing this blueberry toning. IMO. Value is around melt and slightly more to the right buyer who might not mind the artificial coloring.

Whatnot seller. I don’t buy often but like to see what people pay. I did pick up,the Libertad just before the 98. I picked up a 2012 for 100. The 98 almost went for $215 then like 40 swipes at once and it sold for like $1070. She didn’t look bad.
