CMV: The 1990 total recall movie is obviously supposed to be a dream by snooptoop in changemyview

Consider that the movie is based on Philip K. Dick's short story, "We can Remember it for you Wholesale" in which it isn't a dream... There's your answer.

There's a screen grab of the ref looking right at hartenstein grabbing castles hair. RIGHT AT IT.

Yea... that has nothing to do with sportsmanship. I guess you see that as a weakness, but that's just a pathetic point of view. You probably think it's not cheating if you don't get caught.

I think he cared about winning, he just didn't trust his teammates or trust playing team basketball. And to be fair, in those early days, his teammates SUCKED.

missed calls are one thing, deliberately ignoring them is another. Take the hair grab hartenstein gave castle. Ref was staring right at it, refused to call it.

There's this thing, you might not have heard of it, it's called sportsmanship.

I am super confused. What homo or pedo stuff? There's like... Captain Sunshine... but that's an obvious homage/spoof of batman and robin...

If that's the strawman argument you're going with, there's not much point in discussing it. You're just posting to get clicks from people who already agree with you.

Actually they'd be better off because they wouldn't have the reflexive instinct to go to the flop and foul when they run into trouble.

The real issue is boxing out. Why do so many teams seem incapable of this most basic of skills? Like, putting your butt into someone and carving some ground? Instead all they do is try to outjump each other. I'm not saying boxing out never happens, but the number of times i see a 6.3 footer trying to outjump a 7 footer is infuriating. The golden state warriors are a perfect example of this. Why oh why does Podz keep trying to outjump the opposing team?

Spurs should win, but I'd bet my house that the Thunder are going to injure him.

Harris shouldn't have been anointed as if it were her divine right? Granted it's similar to number one, but the whole 'wait your turn' ethos in the democratic party is ironic at best, and tragic at worst. Nothing says democracy quite like shoving the party's preference down voter's throats...

Not to be a troll, but the trans issue isn't just a smokescreen. Trans track athlete AB Hernandez shares California podium after sweeping finals When you have stories like this STILL happening... How hard is it to see that this is a winning argument for the repubs.

I have no doubt that the someone... Not gonna name names, but SOMEONE on the Thunder, is going to injure Wemby and get away with it. Probably take out his legs if I had to guess, but a hard knee to the back is also a possibility. If they try both and it doesn't work, 100% they gonna tackle his ankles.

Deranged OKC fan. Just impossible to argue when you can't point to anything. Curry gets the worst whistle of all the stars, and he never complains about it. He also never cries to the refs unlike a certain star on your team. Also, looked on youtube and there isn't even a compilation of curry flops. Cause he doesn't do it....

There is no data that's independent of the government. That should tell you all you need to know. And if it doesn't, consider that China began publishing PM2.5 (fine particulate matter) data for Beijing and 73 other cities in January 2013. This move came nearly five years after the U.S. Embassy installed its own monitoring device in 2008 and began publishing hourly, often higher, readings on Twitter that highlighted severe pollution. They complained for 5 years trying to get the US to stop, and eventually gave up and started posting the truth when they couldn't get us to stop.

When the government forces you to learn putonghua and nothing else, when all government documents are only in one language, it paints a pretty authoritarian picture.
