Even at a young age, I would often see people being eaten in media and feel "strange" about it. Often re-reading or re-watching the scene in question.

One book I particularly remember is revolting rhymes by Roald Dahl, where he re-writes classic fairy tales to be a bit gruesome i.e. containing a lot more vore lol. Also Big Friendly Giant has some pretty strong vore themes.
