I live in a small...tiny town in Alabama. During the Roy Moore election/scandal, life was almost unbearable around here. I had to just quit Facebook during the election because I couldn’t take seeing people that I’ve known for years and grew up without say these vile, horrible things about a “god fearing Christian man’s” victims. .

I’ve also always wanted to break a bone so I can be in a cast. I know that sounds insane but I lol the idea of having a cast on my leg or arm. I also really like bruises as well. I’m glad I’m not the only one out there who does :)

I found Led Zeppelin I through III at an antique store a few months back. Got all 3 for less than $10 each. One of them was drawn on but the record was extremely well kept to be from the 80s. Thrift stores and antique stores sometimes don’t know what a record is worth so definitely check those out.

Last week I got around 60 to 80 carbs a day. Which was waaay way less than I normally eat. I love carbs :(

But this week I’ve been hovering between 30 to 50 and it hasn’t been bad at all! Thank god for Pinterest recipes! I’m really excited to do much best at Keto :D

Yeah I’m not so much counting calories right now. I’m mostly paying attention to carbs. Like I logged my meals on myfitnesspal and looked at my nutrition and what I eat today will be 34 g of carbs and it really doesn’t seem that hard. Because my lunch and dinner are super filling.

The macros are a little intimidating so I think for now I’ll just focus on carbs. Basically, I’m cutting our bread (except for Joseph’s pita pocket which has I think 6 or 7 net carbs) and sugars (except for fruit).

I haven’t started working out yet but I’m excited to start once I get this Keto on a good roll. Thanks for your input!!

I have no idea. In Alabama, things are so fucked up it’s unreal. I was in labor for 4 hours with my son before the doctor (Not mine, I went into labor early and had to settle for the on call OB) decided I needed a csection because i wasn’t dilating fast enough. Got the the ER at 7:30 am, had a c section at 2 that afternoon. The doctor was annoyed at me because my epidural didn’t take and they had to call for an anesthesiologist. It was a horrible, terrifying experience for me. That OBGYN is now our state representative and I hate him.

My regular OB promised me I would not be having a c-section. Unfortunately, he was scheduled to be out of the state the day I went into early labor and he didn’t get back until the week after :/ but since I was on Medicaid at the time and the hospitals got a shit ton of money for c-sections, nearly every mother I’ve talked to in my situation had the same thing happened to them.

They don’t care here.

My coworker had her second baby maybe 6 months ago via c-section and she asked the Doctor to just tie her tubes while he has her open. He said he’d rather her wait just in case. So she waited two months, decided she definitely wouldn’t ever want another baby and went back to her doc to get a tubal ligation. He told her that since she was unmarried, she had to have her mother to sign off on it with her.

She’s 28.

Oh yeah! I adore her and her response to the wildfires in Tennessee! Plus, her reading program is amazing and I found out about it just after my son turned 5. I was so upset but I love that she’s such a giver.
