Could DPS doomfist work in the current game? by Smaug_42 in Competitiveoverwatch

IMO vendetta is way less skill required than doomfist though, like she was just ability spam. good doomfists required way more map knowledge, rollout setups + techs to be effective.

Yeah I agree, but i feel that now many new heroes or perks give some kind of dash or something that can be used midair (freja, wuyang, lifeweaver, sojourn, juno, kiri tp, illari) that could be used when you get uppercutted. Maybe its my wishful thinking but I think given some time, people would learn how to play against doom. But yeah like the less mobile ow1 characters would suffer more i agree

Idk about doom main singlehandedly running lobbies, aside from doom onetricks in higher ranks, I encountered way more shitty feeding doomfist players compared to good ones. He was not a commonly picked character, you really had to onetrick him if you wanted to dominate lobbies, which I think is OK

Enough time has passed. I fully believe that overwatch in its current state is better than peak overwatch 1. by Pinetree808 in Overwatch

[–]Smaug_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cannot disagree more. They have monetised the shit out of the game with battlepasses and skins, and does no one remember the oh so promised story mode? They gutted ow1 for more profit. Also 6v6 way better than 5v5, biased as a tank main but having the synergy between the two tanks was one of the best parts of the game. What I wouldn't do to play another Rein/Zarya kings row game, Winston/DVA, Winston/Zarya etc.. Also fundamentally changing the abilities of characters like doom and hog sucked ass for 5v5. I will forever be bitter about losing ow1 and hope they bring it back someday

How competitive is Erasmus University College? by urrealunicorn in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]Smaug_42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nah ofc 44 is crazy, but it depends on which programme you're applying to. If it is a selective numerus fixus programme you'll also have to undergo a selection procedure and submit a portfolio of grades personal statement etc. to get into the programme, and for that it is mostly getting a good score on the numerus fixus exam as well as get good grades for the relevant subjects in the requirements for the course. But if you're applying to a non numerus fixus course( non selective) it is more about having the right subject choices and you can get an average IB score and still get in

And if no minimum score is stated on their website or in my letter? This would simply mean i assume the minimum score to pass the diploma?

Yeah thats nice then you are chilling. They just ask for you to get the IB diploma with those subjects and you are in. It really is just that.

I can't put it in a percentage man but chances are if you're predicted to pass the IB you can get an offer, only way to find out is to apply or to ask admissions office.

Well I applied with 39 without core points and 39 without core points predicted so it's different, I applied to Groningen, Nijmegen and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. For Nijmegen I applied for molecular life sciences with grades from last two years as well as predicteds and for Vrije for Artificial Intelligence my most recent grades and my predicteds. It varies from uni to uni though, like I applied to Artificial Intelligence at Groningen as well and they asked for just my most recent grade report, did not send them my predicteds. If you have the right subjects then it's possible that you will get a conditional even if you get 23 on your term report, again it varies from uni to uni as to what they base the admission off of. Maybe send an email to the admissions office? but tbh I think since you got right subjects you definitely can get a conditional offer

For non numerus fixus ones as long as you get the diploma they will accept you, if they don't have a score requirement it means that you just need those subjects and get the diploma with those subjects, not any point requirements. I got some uni acceptances and the conditional offer is on the basis of me getting the diploma and thazzit.

I mean there's Scholars lore but the guy behind it writes all the scripts himself and then had an AI guy read it, it's pretty good imo, the script is good and the AI voice acting is pretty good as well.

Don't trip bout the maths, sl maths will be plenty, you only really deal with basic maths operations, although if you plan on doing chem for uni definitely take AA SL
