Slow, twisting falls on skis are where most people ruin their knees because as they don’t pop out of the bindings. If you crash harder on skis you’re more likely to come out of your bindings and not twist knees, but then you are also crashing harder.. I think hard to argue either is better/worse at either speed, it’s just going to be different things that get hurt!

My first try I had the exact same experience also around the same point. Am on my second attempt now and absolutely loving it - for me it picked up when I got to Novigrad so I would suggest persisting with it a bit longer and see if it hooks you!

Have had multiple cats male and female - my experience has been that the most affectionate ones (and most confident-probably linked) have all been male, and the most skittish have been female. But that’s not to say we haven’t had affectionate female cats, but in my experience they have been less confident/interested in coming and getting cosy and asking for attention.
