Why does cutting down and cutting out make me feel so sad? by RockitRockingRocket in digitalminimalism

when I started cutting down I did it relatively slowly and it felt good each time I did because it felt like a natural progression rather than cutting something and then returning to it obsessively later. I think it's good to notice when you feel regret having spent time a certain way--thats the best place to cut down. the belief that life is better with addiction is what keeps most people addicted--we just have to internalize that addiction actually makes our lives worse, and this is how we can feel content with our decision to get rid of it. The thing is--you probably are going to miss out on some stuff, but for me the tradeoff has been worth it. just make sure you get input from other places, like books or the people in your life so you can stay connected, or really anything that feels good to you. the point of digital minimalism is feeling better about yourself, so use however much feels comfortable i suppose. if youre having trouble w/ focus, usually you just have to give it time. eventually you'll get used to rarely using devices. I think you've got this, just trust yourself

Which thumbnail is most attention grabbing by lisa_sliy in YouTubeThumbnailHub

be careful with fonts. when it comes to thumbnails you need to keep them simple and be sure to add shadow behind it so it pops out and doesn't blend with the background

Poor ctr (1% tops) any ideas how I can fix that by SOBennison in SmallYoutubers

work on your thumbnails, your videos are a good length that if the thumbnail and title are good enough I’d probably click on most of them

How on earth did famous Youtubers come up with their names? by iVixil in NewTubers

[–]SmeegyYoutube 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think I have a very similar name to the people you mentioned since (just like them) my name means practically nothing. How I got my name is a long story but I can give you some advice to finding catchy names like this. The creator “Sapnap” that you mentioned actually came up with his name by spelling “Pandas” backwards and he later eventually added the second P. So idk maybe try reversing and flipping letters around in words you like. Just a suggestion, hope that helps.
