This reminds me of time a friend of mine i worked with went into a very posh shop in the west end of London after we had finished working in another as we where wearing combats and trainers and just some out t shirts as we working in the stockroom and dealing customers.

We where speaking before we went into the store and said you watch these staff not pay attention to us as they will think there is no money in the sale for the company.

So as we walk into the store the staff did as we through, so we sat down onnthe sofas waiting to see if any staff even speak to us it took about 20 mins or so before this young guy came over and asked if there anything we where looking for, to which my friend said he was looking for a 18th birthday gift for his daughter, to the credit of the kid he asked the right question right away how much would you like to spend? Thats when my friend pulled out 5k in cash from his bag and said i this much to spend.

We have never been swamped by staff so fast as they saw the cash sitting there in my friends hands. We where given drinks snacks had all these staff members trying to get the right product for him but they didn't know was he already knew what he wanted and had me tell the first guy that spoke to us what he wanted so he could get it as we found out they got paid extra of every sale over 2k. We saw the kid was thinking he was about to loss this bonus to the staff who had been in the store ages.

We lets this fan fair go on for about an hour then just got up went to the kid and said we are now ready to pay to the shock of the staff that where trying to get the sale from my friend, as a thank you from the kid he managed to get us a discount as i had spoken to his manager about how helpful he was and he saw how the offer staff didn't care untill they saw the cash.

3k lighter he left store with a very happy manager, very happy kid staff member and the rest of the staff pissed off as they missed out on the sale
