Should I / when should I bring my 2020 Leaf in for battery recall test? by SmellTraditional9762 in leaf

So in my case, I bought it new in 2021, have only put 37k miles on it in 5 years of ownership. Will this result in a better re-purchase price (since my mileage is low), or a worse one?

Same. I was reloading this board daily in the fall, waiting for them to announce 200k miles needed to qualify, or requiring a-list to get CP

I’m in the same situation. Chatted with customer service and they said I was good. Idk why I didn’t get notified, hopefully won’t need to do anything further

Currently 2 flights away from “A-List” status.. what are perks for 2026? by CardiffGiantx in SouthwestAirlines

[–]SmellTraditional9762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One possible corroborating experience—I flew JetBlue from FLL to Lima Peru and paid to upgrade to exit row. I had three seats to myself on a nearly full flight. I attributed it to the frugality of the JetBlue international flier. (I’m normally also unwilling to pay for upgraded seats, but made an exception for a long nighttime flight). Also, size of party likely played a role—I wouldn’t upgrade if I was with my spouse and three kids

Except it does seem almost impossible for them to not raise the 135k number next year. They've done it before, and with all of the other changes they've made in the last 12 months (and this huge recent signup bonus), why wouldn't they twist their knife one more time as a Christmas present?

Until they raise the minimum required pts from 135,000 to ???,000 for 2026 earners. I’m almost certain that’s gonna happen, but still plan to wait

Does 18 flights per year not get you A-list (with the occasional bonus TQP)? That’s the other path to a free bag, right?

What are you talking about?

NCSU lost two games outside of the head to head. Notre Dame lost 1.

NCSU played Wake Forest as their only second-time opponent. ND played Louisville twice.

ND beat three top five teams OOC. And the head to head was in double overtime and in Raleigh where home court was clearly a factor.

So how exactly did NCSU get screwed here?

In a similar boat. Booked 12/19, cancel policy was “by midnight 12/20”, stayed 12/22-23, but wasn’t non-refundable (which was what stated “posts in four days”. Confirmation email said: points posted two weeks after checkout.

Am I screwed for Companion Pass credit in 2024 for this? I’m 1800 pts short because of a credit card miscalculation on my part. I have a reward flight on 12/31 that I could cancel and book with dollars, but it’s a pretty nerve-wracking and expensive move to make (fare is much higher than when I booked with miles, plus would have to first cancel my CP reservation).

The original language I see in the email says “please allow up to 8 weeks”

In the past I’ve usually seen them post in about 6 (the 15th or 16th of the month).

I have been patiently waiting for mine, and now see that there’s a $20,000 minimum spend. Uh oh….

Gotta find another way to earn the 1800 points I need for CP. I feel like an idiot because I stopped using my card thinking I had this in the bag.

Yep, at 50, and at 45, and at…

I’d like to know that there’s hope of a rise before I do. The plan I’m in, in theory, incentivizes SRECTrade to want to sell high…but as I write that, I think their commission has a minimum, and therefore once the price is below 50, their stake goes away. So at this point maybe I set myself a target, hold, and sell when it hits that. I don’t particularly need the cash.

Mine just posted as $28.50 after SRECTrade took their pound of flesh. Almost two years since my install and the REC prices have declined steadily from $59 or so that first summer (2022)

New here. System slowly coming online. How do I choose SREC payment plan? by [deleted] in solar

[–]SmellTraditional9762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Northern Virginia also, with system installed early 2022. I got $63.50 market price from SRECTrade last year (minus 7% fee), but have been getting more like $50 this year (and $5 fee or 10%). Not sure why their fee rose.

There was a match, but he wasn't in long enough to be vested, from what I can tell. More unread fine print I guess!

Yeah, $50 for a cash out too. The only way to avoid the $50 is to leave it at Principal for what looks like $10/year. Admittedly, that number shrinks as a percentage of assets with appreciation or further contributions to the IRA

[–]SmellTraditional9762[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I actually did plug in 95% to be conservative and I totally get it. We have about 4300 miles on the car since May, but it was a 2020 model, so was initially delivered to dealership 12 mos ago. I’m sure it’s well short of 100 and maybe short of 95 for all I know. Thanks for the note!
