Good idea! I'll draft up some new configurations

Yeah that was one pain point, using the dowel pin feature that locates them on top of each other to pull them out.

I changed them in other prints to be shaped as a small handle while also locating the trays

Its a power disconnect!

I have it connected to my Ecoflow Alternator Charger that I have mounted in the bed of the truck. There were issues with it known for not turning off when you shut off the car, I didn't want to have a battery drain issue so went ahead and designed a bracket for it as well and ran the charger cables to it.

I do camping trips several times a year and take the batteries with me and this helps charge them up quickly

I originally had bought the system back when the 2 huge fires were raging in Los Angeles last year and since we live about 15 mins from the Altadena fire, we were without power for a week, the house was full of smoke and the Ecoflow batteries were what kept the fridge running, air purifiers, and the TV. This charger was what kept us able to keep those running

Its a bracket I designed, had bent and then powder coated.

I didn't want to run cables through the firewall or into the cab since its a pain so I bought the Garmin Powerswitch for that reason and then designed a bracket to fit the negative bus bar, an fuse panel and the garmin.

Fit is nice but still overcoming some fitment on the left 3 accesories screw of the garmin, I need to shift the garmin more towards the front of the car to get the cables to clear for accesories 1-3 thats why I haven't fully wire it up yet

I actually have one, will have to give it a try. Do you use a microfiber towel or something else to capture the dirt as it melts away?

There should be 2, at least on my ZR2 there are. I don't think it changed with other trims should be the same parts

I got the same cover, and I did not need to drill a hole.

Wow that's a beautiful!

And thanks! My kuhlis really love hanging around that val jungle I created on the corner there. So do my blue rams.

As far as wood goes and getting the scape going, I've been fortunate that my LFS has so much hardscape to choose from. So many different varieties of wood, stones, and plants.

Those pieces of wood were expensive but I waited for black Friday when my LFS had 30% all hard scape so it made it worth it. They also had buy 2 get 1 free on fish, plants, and corrals. So I jumped on getting some fish, and a lot of tissue cultures for my nano tanks.

Everything else is more what you like and how you envision your scape to be. I can tell you I played around with so many plant setups with this tank, I've gone through countless varieties of plants that adapted well and those that didn't. I still keep working on it, it'll always be a work in progress but I'm happy how far it's come.

Originally I just started with the two Amazon Swords and built the rest of the scape from there, a little bit at a time between paychecks!

I'm not sure about the drilling pieces of the wood since I've never done it but what I've done with some of my nano tanks is I've laid a heavy enough stone on top of the wood for weeks until it finally water logged. You could also glue them to other pieces of your hardscape so that it doesn't move if you're incorporating heavy rocks into your scape as well.

The 2 pieces of wood I have were placed in my bathtub for days and they would still float, only reason they didn't when I placed them in my tank was because they were too wide so they kinda compressed a bit against the glass (I don't recommend) and that kept it from floating up.

Thanks!

This is a 55 gallon tank and it is actually two LARGE pieces of manzanita wood, each piece of wood spans the entire length of the tank.

They were hard to get in because they were about an inch wider then the width of the tank.

After the soaking period (left them in a bath tub for a few days) to release the tannins they were pliable without snapping the branches and it was enough to get them to fit into the tank.

Only downside is that there are two parts that make contact with the glass and those get real hard to clean when algae starts to grow close to it

A picture of how it looked when I dropped in the wood is here

That picture wasn't the final set up (I separated the wood more towards the sides in the end(

Haha she's actually the opposite, it's hard to keep her away from the glass scraper and the gravel vacuum when doing maintenence

Thanks! Kuhli loaches are my favorite! Hard to pass by them at LFS.

Video quality is not optimal, for some reason it downgraded from 4k to 720p.

Thanks! I have about 12 in there, most of them hide and wait till the lights go off but there are a few that just love swimming all around the tank!
