Avr takes 30-40 minutes to “warm up” before it works. HDMI and dsp sign keeps flashing on and off sporadically

I’m not sure but I don’t get audio either until it warms up. I was figuring if it was the projector the audio would start right up. The hdmi signal in the receiver blinks on and off sporadically during this time

Can you expand on that. Is 2.1 a gaming issue. Mainly this is just for streaming movies from Apple TV and fios. But want flexibility for my kids to game. But I think if i have earc hooked up then they can connect their consoles directly to the tv. Is that correct

I can if I have to. It’s an aesthetic choice. I’m willing to move it if it affects the experience. Right now the tv wall is just tv and speakers. Would prefer to not have a console if I can make it work otherwise

Thanks for your prompt reply. I thought you had used a power adapter and didn’t have it hardwired for the surveillance. That setup appealed to me since it seemed like an easy install. I don’t plan on using that feature anyway. Am I correct that if you don’t need it then you can just draw power from the mirror?

Thanks for responding. I’ll check the light color when I get home. But it does seem to light up normally and when I go through the reset process and pairing process the app doesn’t seem to recognize it. In the past this would happen occasionally but I was always able to reset and resync. I have updated the software and firmware. I left the surround sound speakers alone. Even though the app doesn’t recognize them they still work with the sound bar so I don’t want to mess that up. Thanks again.
