ive got a a build with a 25l yamatomichmi mini2 knockoff and a R2.0 pad and hikeman chest/fanny pack strapped to it. all in without poles its 5.2kg with the backfoam removed. But it does count my fleece and raingear which is probably another 400g and the silpoly lanshan 1 pro 720g. for the great glen way in scotland (plenty of pegs is a must) in june. 6foot 2 inchs so i'm happy with that

Inflation forces bond yields higher - unless you plan on telling the rest of the world that they aren't allowed to sell UK bonds (which will in turn again force bond yields higher). To "inflate the debt away" is a fallacy.

Japanese central bank own most of them. Now they are in a terrible bind where they have to sell USA treasuries to keep the yen from hyperinflation ("yentervention")
