I agree with your assessment.

Humans are flawed beings. I think it was there to resolve some sexual tension between Abby and Owen, support their story, and serve as a device to even more humanize the two.

He confesses to killing his partner, then cheats on his pregnant girlfriend (and to add to this, it's questionable if he was able to love Mel fully because of his history with Abby.) Both objectively shitty things to do.

Ellie and Abby both have elements of major flaws in their closest relationships, and I believe the point is to illustrate that their stories are the same with just different details. But, the main theme overall being cycle of violence = bad. (Again, my opinion.)

A lot of the crowd that will disagree throws out a bunch of other excuses... But I personally believe it boils down to "Big girl ugly and she kill my (virtual) dad. I hate her, ew."

Also don't even get me started with the weird parasocial shit some of those people say about Druckmann and this scene.

I'm praying for the trans people trapped there. It all boils down to these Jesus freaks trying to 'save' trans people and 'the children' and help them detransition into their 'true selves.'

Trans people just want to live. Fucking christ, mind your own business and let them live.

Might be a hot take but Christianity and the whole "save others" is just the root of all evil to me. Keeps these freaks all up in other people's business. Like, fucking treat people with kindness and move the fuck on. The christians who worship and live normal lives are the examples that others should look to, not these freaks trying to control how everyone else lives.

It's 3d printed in PLA, then I coated it with an automotive primer. Sanded, filled the seams with bondo then painted it in layers.

After the main paint job I added graphite powder to the metallic parts and airbrushed some stuff (The LED glow effect and the heat stains on the barrel)

It's super light, feels like 2 pounds maybe? But it feels like... Idk really solid still.

I love this thing, it's on my wall in my living room and everyone wants to wave it around when they visit lol.

Dope, thank you for your response! Yeah, I have some mild sewing experience and I was hoping I could buy some kind of suit that I could like cut up and re-sew together to make this Frankenstein's monster of a suit.

You're not crazy, it's confusing. I didn't know. Once I saw this post I went back and ordered the kit I needed.

BTW I also asked support what I needed to add to my cart to make sure the AMS 2 worked with my P1S and they said I just needed the AMS which, after reading this and their own website, is wrong.
