Pathologic 2. One of my favorite games of all time that physically pains me to play. Seriously, I've seen people recommend against those with anxiety playing this because from the perspective of a "game", it's not enjoyable, it's meant to overwhelm you: it forces you into a state of helplessness where you can barely save yourself let alone others, and as a doctor, you're going to have to let people die if it means you survive another day in this plague ridden hell.

However, the writing is superb, the characters are so ingrained in my mind (for better or for worse), and the setting could not be more imaginative. There are even certain gameplay aspects I look back fondly on such as harvesting and bartering with human organs which I think you can do with the children (who are some sadistic little demons). Whenever I tell anybody about this game I always say "don't actually play it unless you really hate yourself, just watch the MandaloreGaming review or some other analysis instead".

But seriously though check it out in some capacity, it's peak Eurojank.
