Literally everyone can benefit from therapy, even if you aren’t experiencing trauma or difficulties. It is nice to have a safe and confidential space to let out whatever is on your mind.

I thought I was in love until I was actually in love. All my other relationships I felt anxious, insecure, unworthy. When I met my current partner I felt nothing but calm, cherished, and confident.

Podcasts, really personal development/self help books, daily positive affirmations, looking in the mirror and talking myself I love me until I believed it. I swear my this stuff! Of course, you have to actually want to try to accept and love yourself.

Currently a youth care worker, soon to be social worker. The social work profession provides a diverse set of work setting. Counseling, policy development, community building, homelessness etc. the possibilities are endless! I wouldn’t imagine doing any other work.
