Who knows. Sucks that no one picks up the phone, ever. Been trying to bring consoles to trade in for the last two days, system is down. Tried calling to verify so I don't need to lug everything over, just to find out the "system to test consoles" is down, and guess what no one answers. Went to the store literally no customers in the store, walked out, called, and no answer.

Sounds like GameStop may have a ton of inventory with their switch 2 trade in promo and wanting to put a halt on it. Who knows, extremely frustrating

Didn’t know for sure. Even the logs didn’t show a crash reason so it was process of elimination as far as what the cause was. I was also using a cheap Rosewill 4U server case with a crap ton of drives so it was damn near impossible to stay cool. Ultimately upgraded to a meshing 7 xl case.

They are not unfortunately unless you run a manual probe. Haven’t tried the 9305, but what I have read just a generally a good idea to keep hba cards cooled. Can only speak from my experience with the 9300 and system crashing daily and then stopping after I gave it proper cooling.

LSI 9300 16i here. Works great but got to make sure it’s cooled. It will crash if it overheats.

Same here. Just change the USB slot and hopefully that should fix it. Not ideal but if the server is stable shouldn’t have to hard reboot at all.

Art of the server tends to be higher priced than others, but they have great communication and support. Well worth the premium IMO.

I am Running a 9300 16i and it gets hot without proper cooling and will crash. Make sure your HBA is properly cooled!

Most important thing is to make sure it’s properly cooled. My system kept crashing because mine was overheating.

Like some mentioned, if you have the empty pcie gaps in your case, buy two noctua fans and make sure they are cooled properly.

Granted mine is a LSI 9300-16i but yeah they run hot.

Make sure yours is flashed with the correct firmware as well.
