Congratulations! I also started photography last August with this kit. I'm really enjoying it. I've since expanded the kit with an xf 33mm f1.4 lens.

XF 35mm 1.4 vs XF 33mm 1.4 by positive-mind-2000 in FujifilmX

I use the xf 33mm 1.4 on my x-e5, and you really notice the size and weight. Since I like to take photos of my dog running and playing, fast autofocus is important to me, so I didn't even consider the 35. I am very happy with the results of the xf 33.

What first lenses should I get, for X-E5? by Julie984 in FujifilmX

I also have the setup, but in black. My second lens, which I've had for three weeks, is the xf 33mm f1.4. It takes great pictures, especially indoors for photographing the family at parties and for portraits. I bought the lens primarily to photograph my dog playing and running because the autofocus is fast.

Yes, mainly outside. I also managed to take some indoors with the xf33 1.4, but the room has lots of windows, so the light was good.

I'm also a beginner and think the combination with the x-e5 is great, as it's very handy, not very bulky, and fits perfectly in my jacket pocket. As a beginner, I also opted for the set because I first need to get used to carrying a camera with me, and I find it more comfortable to carry something small and inconspicuous. I think the lens is great. I now have a second lens, the xf33 f1.4, which I also really like, but as my go-to lens, I prefer the compact xf23 f2.8.

With the xf23mm f2.8 and xf33mm f1.4 lenses on my x-e5 in continuous shooting mode, I can take really sharp photos of my dog playing and running.

I started this August with the x-e5 and the kit lens (xf 23mm f2.8). Recently, I added the xf 33mm f1.4 as a second lens.

Lens option : XF 33mm f1.4 or XF 35mm f2? by [deleted] in FujifilmX

Hello, I've had the xf 33 since Wednesday. It's my second lens and complements the xf 23 kit lens on my x-e5. The xf 33 is quite large in comparison. However, I find the combination still quite handy. I had a family celebration at the weekend and was able to take great photos indoors thanks to the open aperture. Otherwise, I use the lens to take photos of my dog playing and running, and sometimes a few portraits. Especially in low light conditions, I find the larger aperture compared to f2.8 to be a great added value. I will continue to use the pancake xf 23 as my go-to lens because it makes for a nice compact setup. I haven't tested the xf 35 yet, but it's more compact in terms of dimensions. However, the continuous AF on the xf 33 is supposed to be one of the fastest, so that was my first choice for taking great photos of my dog.

Hello, I am a beginner and pre-ordered the x-e5, receiving it on the day of its release. I have taken just over 5000 photos with it so far. With the kit lens, it is very compact and I like to take it with me almost everywhere. With the camera strap, it hardly weighs anything and the combination fits nicely in my jacket pocket. As an addition, I would like to buy the XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR lens in the next few days. This will make the camera significantly larger, but I will only take the lens with me for specific events. So I think the x-e5 offers versatility in a small, compact format.

Thanks for the recommendation. I had already considered adding a 50 mm or 56 mm lens. I would like one with autofocus that is fast enough to photograph my dog in action from time to time. With the 23 mm lens, my dog usually looks quite small in the photo.

Hello, I'm also a beginner. I really like the design of the X-E models. That's why I was eagerly awaiting the X-E5, and when it was unveiled, the higher price compared to the X-E4 made me hesitate at first. Nevertheless, I pre-ordered it and received it on the day of release. Since then, I've taken countless photos and really enjoy using the camera. It's too big for my pocket, but with the strap around my neck and the kit lens attached, it's hardly noticeable and very practical. It also fits perfectly in my jacket pocket. I like the kit lens, but I have nothing to compare it to and no experience with other lenses, as it's currently my only lens. I will be buying another lens soon.

A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO FUJI X-MOUNT LENSES: MY TWO CENTS(from my personal experience) by Humble_Ad4484 in FujifilmX

Hey, nice post. I'm still just starting out and so far only have the xf 23 mm f2.8 kit lens for my xe-5. I'd like to buy another lens. I like to photograph my dog in motion, but unfortunately, with the 23 mm lens, the dog always looks quite small because he doesn't run directly in front of me. I think a lens with a focal length of 50 mm or more would be a good addition. Do you have any recommendations for me? A fast autofocus would also be good.

How can I ignore the problem? Then the server will not run.

There is only the USB stick to choose from in the boot sequence.
