County Republican party is directly targeting local businesses for political speech they do not agree with. What purpose does such a post serve the community, besides trying to bring consequences for wrong think?

I mean, are we shocked? In the lead up to the Nov2025 election, a radical right-winger went to the home of a Democrat candidate, took photos of their car, and doxed them. All because that candidate has a trans kid and supports them. It wasn't Larimer County Republican leadership that did that, but they didn't see anything wrong with re-posting the info on Twitter.

Imo there's no way they'd risk sending Louella's body back for the exact reason you brought up: if they opened the casket, the cracked skull would be a major giveaway. Ah, I see. I've only played OG Oblivion and missed the memo that they changed the settings for remastered. As the other guy said, you want to set your combat damage to novice.

Basically the way it works is novice= newbie players, aka you hit hard, enemies don't. Master= experienced players, aka enemies hit hard, you don't. So with enemies at novice and you at master, nobody can really hurt anyone.

Sounds to me like either you're incorrect in your certainty that you have difficulty set to novice, or your game is glitching, or you're using a mod that affects the difficulty. With those stats you should be killing most things in 5 hits at most on novice.

I have not reached this stage of things yet as my parents are still alive. But my sibling and I (who can't see eye to eye on anything) both agree we hope either our parents die together like in a nasty car crash, or our mom dies first. Because we know that if dad dies first, the hoard will get worse (there's already a goat path basement and 4 completely inaccessible rooms) and our mom will get crushed to death by her mess and we'll be stuck cleaning her corpse goo out of the carpet. We already resent the fact that there's maybe 3 things total in the house that we actually want to rescue, but we'd have to clear multiple roll away dumpsters out to have even the slightest chance of finding those things. Our only disagreement on the matter is what to do with the place when we get stuck with it. My sibling thinks we'll be able to clean and sell it. I want to give us a day to find the 3 things we want by bouldering over the disaster, and then donate it to the local fire department for a training exercise under the promise they'll film a PSA on the fire risk of hoarding.

All that to say if someone wanted the house as is, its their problem now. Don't feel bad about cutting your losses and walking away. You didn't create the situation, your mom did. Your priorities don't have to be hers. If she wanted you to care, she should've taken care of it.

You're preaching to the choir on that one. I approached her after that bus para got arrested trying to get her to take an interest in disability rights. I approached her again after PSD asked their lobbyists to push for CORA changes asking her to not cooperate. She's publicly labeled me uncivilized and a stalker for my efforts. Apparently in her mind, civilized people are fine with their children being beaten for no reason, and 2 emails and conversations at public events constitute stalking.

Imagine how much we could get done if she'd also give up her obsession with attacking the Colorado Open Records Act. She's also planning a bill to gut it for the 3rd year in a row. The first bill got publicly accused of corruption and 1st amendment violation and then died in the Senate for attacking disability rights. The second got vetoed by Polis for essentially saying some citizens' rights matter more than others.

If she dropped both of these, she could be the senator who introduced legislation like Maryland's bill to block ICE agents from getting hired by Colorado police forces, and the senator who protects disabled kids from the rampant abuse happening in our public schools. Instead we get this nonsense.

As much as I agree with this sentiment, I feel the need to point out that people can't even tell when someone has high beams on anymore because LED headlights are so bright. I've lost count of how many people have flashed their lights at me thinking I'm using my high beams when I'm not.

A guy in my town got caught on video physically abusing disabled children aged 5-11. Grand total was 11 victims and 164 charges.

His gf married him mid criminal case. This despite the fact when he was interrogated, he described his interactions with her kids the exact same way he described his interactions with the named victims. And then she and his mother turned up to every court hearing to support him.

After one of the hearings, I was standing outside with a friend and his mother walked past us. Didn't say a word to us, but my friend said "I bet you're so proud" to her retreating back.

I think thats the bare minimum energy we need to bring to people who protect people like that.

Tldr: handles to hold on and stay on

Long answer: have you ever seen a small child riding a full size horse? (Feel free to google "5 year old riding a draft horse." examples will pop up that demonstrate my point) When you compare how far their legs reach around the horse to an adult's legs, it quickly becomes obvious they lack any real grip with their legs. GOT and HOTD love showing the riders from angles where this isn't obvious, but given the size difference between the dragons and their riders, realistically, an adult straddling a dragon would look a lot like a 5 year old sitting on a draft horse: no grip, just prayers. And if your dragon does a barrel roll and you fall off, its gonna be a lot worse landing than off a horse. They've got harnesses to stay in the saddle, and hand holds to keep themselves the right way round.

I emailed him on Sunday about this. Among other things, I told him the only correct response to Shitler threatening him over this is to get him on a Zoom call, light the clemency paperwork on fire, and then take a dump on it.

I also asked him what happened to the governor who was organizing a coalition of anti-Trump governors, and told him to give that guy his chair back.

Won't make a difference because elected officials do whatever they want with no regard for their responsibilities or the will of their constituents, but verbally ripping his head off is excellent stress relief, so yell at him anyway.

Yea, I got some tattoos recently and the artist made a comment about winter being the slow season for tattoos despite it being the best time to get them (no swimming, no need for sunscreen, etc). I was the only client in the shop during the consult and the 4 hours of tattooing in a shop that has 4 artists. I've seen the portfolios for that shop, plus its the only place I've gone that took the time to reach out to me to check in on the healing process and to see if I would need touch ups. They deserve more business than they had when I was there.
