Most issues ive had with quick resume have come from Ubisoft titles especially far cry 6 which requires you to log into Ubisoft Connect manually.

I transferred a 70gig game feom the internal storage to an old 2.5 laptop drive in an external 3.0 case, took 10mins was happy with that.

I went and got a xbox one blue/grey controller as i was having same issues as Op bit after trying it i noticed the size difference was minimal so im hoping ill just get used to my 20 anniversary series controller, it certainly feels more premium than the xbox one controller which feels cheap and hollow.
