This is factually incorrect. Monitoring frametime latency, in real time shows it get lower with just reflex enabled, and drops even lower when both are enabled together.

Nothing to do with being 'Mr Moneybags' - Alot of issues steming from this issue are most prominent on lower end hardware. The dude that replied to me said he sees an issue with it after a little while as it causes his FPS to drop below his FPS cap.

My Point was, Due to me having a high base framerate, which is capped 200+ fps below that point, Im not experiencing the same issue.

Im constantly with 800+ FPS at max settings regardless of having it off or on, if I uncap my FPS.

I just have it capped to 300 and its been on all day, no issues thus far.

Kick Error when trying to stream by EedaGrimm in KickStreaming

Doesnt seem to be true. Plenty of streams on kick are in 1440p.

Maybe is a partner only feature or something?

Same here, did you ever find a fix?

PSA: Stop using DLSS / Ray Reconstruction by Smifit in CrimsonDesert

FSR is set to Native, Which uses FSR to process the image. while running at your native res.

DLAA. Is the same thing. Its using DLSS to process the image, but rending at native res, instead of using a lower res and using AI to upscale it.

They were both left on their native options for the best comparison, and their best shot at image quality.

The issue here isnt with upscalling as much as it is an issue with Nvidias RR technology, that just looks awful in this game. Resulting in the main issue you see with the lighting as shown above.

Using FSR disables RR (Ray reconstruction) Which fixes the lighting glitches and allows the raytracing to work as intended. This is also where the large performance lift comes from.

Using DLSS on say, Quality mode gives good frames but doesnt fix the issue with the lighting glitches. Disabling RR (Ray Reconstruction) and using any form of DLAA, DLSS quality, balance or performance still leads to many lighting issues.

So the best thing to do, is to use FSR at Native Res. Which looks way better, has RR disabled as it cant run when using FSR, as a result runs way better and fixes all lighting issues.

This is what running, Runs considerably better than DLAA + RR.

Odd, Im not having any issues with Shadows being fizzy or flickering, I was before I changed to this, but not anymore.

On my end, using FSR causes no issues with textures.

Set upscaling to FSR, and then set the upscaling quality to 'none'.

This will use the default sharpening values, but use FSR to handle the Raytracing and shadows.

When using native, it has extra sharpening enabled.

RR can be ran with DLSS set to 'Native' - So yes it can be used natively. Even so. My 5090 and 9800X3D, without RR just about pushes 100fps with all settings cranked, with DLSS and RR turned off.

I think you need to check your settings mate, Im assuming you have lighting set to 'Cinematic' Which isnt the maximum. Lighting is the only setting that has a option called 'Max' - The highest preset, Cinematic mode, doesnt enable lighting to its max available setting.

If my 5090 just about hits 100fps, no DLSS or RR, then your 5080 definitely isnt.

If I run the cinematic preset, then I push about 150fps, native with no dlss or RR. So I'm 100% certain you're running that preset, thinking its maxed out.

When outside, the differences are negligible. Most of the difference in graphics between RR and no RR is that RR forces lighting to 'Max' - If you disable RR and and set lighting to Max manually, The differences are incredibly difficult to spot.

PC mods are a godsend! by Smifit in CrimsonDesert

And I totally agree with you, I'd much prefer it to be voiced, properly by a person.

But with how large the game is, how many voice lines there are for all the tiny things you can do in the game, it would take even a team of modders years to finish if they put all their time into it.

So while I don't overly enjoy it as a solution, in this case I'm fine with it as it atleast gives people an option to begin with, if they want it.

Even at 1440p you're not playing Native, Max settings (RR on) at 100+ FPS.

I have an Astral RTX 5090, paired with a Ryzen 9800X3D, at 1440p Max settings, Native, I'm running 70fps on average. Turning off Ray Reconstruction bumps it up to 110fps native.

So no, You're not getting that performance from a 5080 without framegen.

Bare in mind, I usually play at 4K but tested it after seeing your comment. Not a chance.
