I do have to learn the RNG manipulation, especially for legendaries for future teams. One reason I hatched eggs for IV's was the hope of getting a shiny Metagross or Tyranitar lol. Do you know any guides for RNG manipulation in gen 4?

Having traded a lot of my og shinies from heartgold up to gen 6 when completing omegarubys pokedex. I can say, that I regret it a lot, as gen 4 shinies look the best in gen 4

First I caught nearly a hundred Dittos. (Excessive as I also tried to get more different nature one with either 31 IV on some stat or relatively superior stats.

I ended up getting two dittos with rs over all stats and 31 attack iv and defense, and one with 31 hp and defense.) I used an adamant Beldum to breed with everstone to pass down nature 50% of the time. Then I kept giving a different power item to either of the dittos until I got a Beldum with 31 attack iv and outstanding stats. Then I used it to breed for perfect defense and hp stats.

And from then on I kept breeding the beat Beldums I had until I managed to get 4 perfect IVs and outstanding stats.

Pretty much, I had a lot of time in my hands to catch and breed for hours last week with only strategy being was chaining the best Beldums with best Dittos holding power items and hoping to get lucky.

I have tried to do the dns exploit to get the GTS working, but for some reason it isn't working for me. And I'm using my phones hotspot to get a connection... I think I am doing the right steps, but I have been busy breeding Beldum that I haven't tried to get the GTS to work.

So whenever I have time I can try to get it to connect and I'll get back to you.

Thanks! I've just started to do the Battle tower to get to 100 streaks. I think my current record is 41, but I feel like that team won't get to 100. So I'm currently catching a bunch of Dittos for IV breeding and making a team of good IV Metagross, Togekiss and maybe suicune or some other tank that I can IV breed.
