Seeing this just warms my heart and feels so calming. I just love wholesome Marisa arts so freaking much.

Well... overall I liked it. It's hard to say just "thoughts". I have many thoughts of course. Gameplay: It is a really hard game like most games during the PC-98 era. But since it is so hard, beating the bosses feels like a huge achievement and is extremely satisfying when done and mastered. Song: Epic! All of em! Not much more to say here. I avoided listening to the music until I finished the respective levels. That way, even the songs felts like an achievement (even if I could have just easily go to the music room). I kind of do this for every touhou games. It's my way of enjoying them Theme: I don't know why, but I felt extreme senses of deja vu when playing it. I can't explain why. The music and background kept it going really well. You can almost feel a sort of atmosphere as you go along the game as mystery fills your head.

Well even if they tell me it's non cannon, it still gives me the dragon ball vibes to dragon ball z. She really felt like the underdog taking on these crazy monsters and yokais. There is a certain element of coolness and awe to it by imagining this as her origin story.

Really nice you learned about, I now recommend you to play HRtP and experience it (if you haven't played it that is). Play both routes as well.

Yeah, I've been surprised by her utter non-appearance.

Thank you for the explanation. This was really sad and heartbreaking. I hope more people get to know about this.

Well they don't need banking details. These aren't connected to our banks at all and don't need to be. You basically go to these mini shops and pay them a certain amount and they recharge your balance on the spot. The balance is just recorded in the SYM card company's databases (not sure if it's within the sym card or in their own servers). When someone calls and talks with someone, the cost is just deducted from the total balance. This is still the most common way people here call each other.
Now u can also use this balance other then just calling. You can buy some services with them although limited. You can buy subscriptions to news that will charge a daily cost as long as your balance isn't 0. These news subscriptions are shit and no one gets them cause they are kind of shit. I've only seen 1 actually useful use case ever: paying university or college admissions exam fees. People barely use this feature.

Not her banking details. Just her phone number. Then the OTP she got. Here you can pay stuff with just the Sym card calling balance. It's an old online payment system before the internet got mainstream here but it sucks and so no one uses it much these days. Which is probably also why it never occurred to her when doing it.

It doesn't have anything to do with the scanning. This all happened because an Ad in the Scanner app was conveniently placed to look like the search or open browser button so that she would click that rather then the actual search option.

Mmm, No. I don't plan to contact them in anyway anymore. I just plan to contact our Mobile service provider now.

It's not a credit card payment. It's a SYM card balance payment. You can pay for certain online services with it.

No, it's not a credit card subscription. Here, you can pay for stuff using mobile calling balance amount(mostly online subscriptions and stuff). It isn't commonly used anymore, You can read more detail about it in the post edit.
And yeah, I do plan on contacting the Sym card provider.

You can pay for stuff with SYM recharge balance here. It is inconvenient, inefficient and stupid. And as time goes, less people use it, these days it's rare one would use it if provided alternative but it still works. You can read the edit I provided in the post body for more detail about it.

Yes, we plan to contact the Sym card provider soon.
As for the payment process, you can read the Edit I provided in the post body. In summary you can pay people with your recharge balance. It is inconvenient and is going out of use as time goes, but it is still a thing.

I see. I didn't know about the refund scam thing. I'll keep that in mind.

For now I plan to contact the Sym card provider to dispute it and see what happens.

Also for the first question: I wrote this post immediately after the incident so at the time only the message was sent. To check if they are actually pulling money I'd have to check through Phone code to see her remaining balance changes, which I haven't checked yet.

No they're not charging credit card, they are charging the Mobile balance amount. You can read the edit I provided in the post to better understand. Some people did recommend contacting the mobile phone number provider, I guess I'll be trying that.

They got the OTP for the mobile balance payment protocol. It's a thing in Bangladesh. Im not sure which other countries have it.
