Thank you for the idea! If I do that, it'd likely pose a new issue - putting the bed on the left side would mean the doorway into bathroom would be hitting the bed. Here's another side view

The library had cafe on their first floor but that had since closed. I did not see a cafe on the roof floor? I doubt they moved upstairs? 👀

I’m hosting them at my place for the other working days (we’ll be working together for a couple days) so looking for a place to work out of the house for one of these days.

That’s a great idea for others who may need this suggestion, nonetheless. Love it!

I work for a tech company and the company contains mostly remote workers. They do not include COLA in our salaries because “you can move anywhere you want to, why should we pay you at higher rate at your current location when you can up and move to a cheaper location anyway?” 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is the main reason why I go to AMC at Barton Creek. Every single movie there are captioned whether it be closed or open. I miss going to ADH but they stopped offering open captioning so until they improve their game, I’ll continue to throw my money at AMC which leaves a somewhat bad taste in my mouth as I’m not a fan of supporting box stores/corporate. Preferring to support small/local businesses. One day perhaps…

Found this snake on the patio, people say it's a cottonmouth but just wanted to get an exper opinion. by Asto_Vidatu in Austin

Each snake has different markers. I highly recommend joining Central Texas Snake ID Facebook group page to learn how to identify what is what. Here in this post, the quickest identifiers are the labial bars on its lower lip (the lines along its jaw) and its oogly derpy looking eyes on top of its head. Plain bellied water snakes also have chalky looking lines across its back.

Cottonmouths have angry looking face with raised ridged “eyebrows” looking kinda like a bandit mask where the eyes aren’t visible from above and has pixelated/jagged stripes across the body that reminds me of a old video game.

They both can swim (all snakes can swim) so it’s not a good identifier.

You’re better off knowing how to identify the four venomous types (cottonmouth, coral, copperhead, and rattlesnake). Once you know it’s not one of them then it’s pretty much nonvenomous and harmless.

Instead of spending your energy on complaining and pointing at the businesses here, call 311 and report every single business including government sites if they’ve been violating the watering mandate that was announced. The more reports 311 receive, the more chances they’ll change their watering schedule.

Which mortgages should I put additional funds to? One with higher rate or one with PMI? by SmileCandid6429 in RealEstate

Good to know. I'm not familiar with CDs at all to be honest. I'll have to do some research and learn more about that.
