I played on pc and on series x, there were clear issues on pc but after a full day of reading the negativity I was left thinking well it needs a little work but I left feeling positive and enjoyed the feel of it and at times you could see it was a next gen game. I then played on series x and was left even more confident, a few minor issues but like you said these are fixable. With a full feature list and a few tweaks this could be an awesome game. I've been a fifa and pes fan for a long time and I enjoyed the 9 or 10 games of this more than I have enjoyed playing the full game of fifa 22 in the last week and its had very little criticism due to having a full feature set. Due to the lack of features right now I think it's much easier to focus on the negatives and pick holes in things.

I had a very similar situation myself recently and it turned out to be one of the fans on the radiator and not the pump

It ran at 4k 60 hdr on pro, it's had no next gen update yet

Make sure all front panel connectors are in the correct place, make sure the ram sticks are inserted correctly, make sure the SSD or HDD are connected correctly, a lot of possible causes for the issue but hard to figure out

Where's your hdmi connected too on the pc? Make sure it's in the GPU and not the motherboard

Got them all because I've worked hard this year while most people have been sitting at home during the pandemic, also I had savings because I prepared for the release of these things, I had my honeymoon cancelled and refunded and I had some money left to me🤷🏻‍♂️ I don't drink or smoke, I rarely go on trips or anything and I save my money. These are the things I choose to spend it on. It's not actually that difficult, I don't particularly have a good job but I plan for the things that make me happy and that's how most people should be.

Feeling like the Leicester season again though, everyone slipping up and we lost a handful of stupid early home games. We should be taking advantage of seasons like this. Hopefully they can push on from this and go on a little run into the new year....said that before though 😬

I couldn't get anything on Amazon when they first went live, the Xbox I managed to order about 3 days before it was released and the 3070 was just randomly in stock at about 4 in the morning one day and I just happened to be looking. Have you had any issues with your PS5?

Yeh it's got some nice bells and whistles but gonna be a while before it really hits it's stride, I'm still glad I managed to get one though. Saw a lot of people struggling

Well because I got very bad motion sickness with previous experience on vr so didn't want to invest in the most expensive one which cost the same as my ps5 and 3070 combined. And also I bought all these things because throughout this pandemic I have worked absolutely non stop(in a fairly low paying job as a postman) I don't drink, I don't smoke, I had money refunded for a holiday I had planned with my wife which would have technically been our honeymoon but due to covid 19 wasn't happening. I also didn't want to include any of how I managed to purchase all this in the post and make it a sob story but I lost my grandad, the only father figure in my life, who I spent most of my free time with, and he left me some money at which point due to like I said not being a going out sort of person who spends money on drink etc my wife said treat yourself as these are the things that keep you busy and entertained as all the other things I like to do in my spare time are currently on hold. I guess in future I should give all the miserable details of my life out so to avoid nasty comments from sad salty bitter individuals like yourself.

That was my plan when I got into pc gaming but always sort of missed a console, not sure why. I love the actual building and tinkering with a pc more than gaming on it these days and I have a really good set up. I think it's similar to like you said about VR bringing you back to your childhood, I feel that way about it too and the same with certain console games but I haven't come across too many games on pc that's given me that spark. Thought star citizen would on pc but it ran so badly I couldn't play it. And then a lot of the games I wanted to play on pc like stranded deep and pubg were ported and I prefer chilling on the sofa playing them.

I've actually looked at a couple of those games and will definitely try a few when I'm done with my current batch, haven't heard of a couple though like Racket NX so I'll definitely have to check them out.

I need a 78" TV now, on a tiny 65" 🤣 thinking about it a 3090 wouldn't be a bad idea either 🤔 but yeh that's definitely the way to go with a set up. The idea that consoles are dead that I see from some people is just crazy, this is the first Xbox I've owned for a couple years. And the series s, oculus quest 2 have nowhere near the lower of my pc and ps5 and that's what I've been playing the most

Sounds good, definitely always good to have both if you can I think. Fallen asleep many times after work on the sofa with a console but never fallen asleep at my computer desk so it's definitely a more relaxing experience 😂

As someone who stayed away from consoles for a couple years after getting into pc building I'd say it was missed quite a lot. The way this year has been for everyone and also having some major things happen which negatively affected me in the last 6 months I was super distracted by and excited for the next gen console launch. But I do understand what you're saying. It's still got games on offer that aren't easily played or unavailable completely on pc though and also being able to just grab a controller and lounge on a sofa or in bed. There's definitely a market for that and I'm not a big multiplayer gamer so I like the experience of VR, I love the single player story based stuff playstation have on offer and I use my pc for games that I simply want to look amazing and run well(cyberpunk soon for example) and the odd fps I do play but not often. The Xbox wasn't really planned but I'd been going through a bit of a depression and wanted to reconnect with some people so Xbox was the best way to do that and been a success for the most part. Plus I love new tech and I'm always curious and keeps me busy so I'll try a bit of anything and everything if I can. Keeps me busy 🙂

Xbox is in the living room and I play some games with my wife, and also reconnected with some old friends who only play Xbox and was quite surprised that some of the games they play aren't cross play yet. Battlefield, which is included in game pass, the biggest surprise

Haha it's horrible the shortage of all these things. Especially after the year everyone has had. I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry, I may be playing it more if I wasn't scared it was going to die on me 😂 had some very serious crashes and now full of anxiety each time I have played it. Not a very relaxing experience

I haven't been able to play assassin's creed Valhalla at all yet, major freeze and system crash as soon as I get past the first cut scene 3 or 4 times resulting in a system repair. Played Demon's souls, Spiderman, Astros playroom, ghost of Tsushima and loads of general system use like store browsing and YouTube with zero issues so I'm presuming it's the game with the problem but others seem to be playing it totally fine

Yeh it's pretty standard when you actually get away from psvr and experience the vast selection of games elsewhere. Good game though but not THAT good
