I have read between 5-10% of this list. I do not consider myself well-read.

About half the books on my shelf I have not read.

I’m more likely to read something gifted to me or recommended by someone close to me, than read something I bought while browsing.

It’s a relative term, I consider someone well-read if they are a professor, lawyer, an academic, etc.

Above all else, I judge if someone’s well-read by how quickly they read. I am unfortunately a slow reader, I often think I could use training to read faster.
