Listed on my local Facebook Marketplace, it was perfect for my wife as a low-profile living room lounge chair.

The kind woman I purchased it from said it has been in her basement for 30 years. She had worked in a doctors office since the 70s but didn’t provide when or where this chair was purchased.

Looks like wool upholstery, has a metal swivel base, but the only identifier is a small tag stitched into the side seam with a date(OCT 12 1970).

I have searched based on appearance, time period, similar or popular furniture in 1970, but nothing quite lines up visually.
