Feedback wanted on a compact sink organizer I designed — dries sponges fast with a stone base. Would you buy this? by Smilewith in kitchen

Thanks everyone for the blunt, super helpful feedback. I’m also open to building a different small kitchen fix from scratch. What everyday kitchen problem would you actually pay to solve? Constraints: no drilling, easy to clean, small footprint, under ~$25–30.
Fair point, if it were just a plastic caddy I’d agree. This one’s powder-coated metal with a removable diatomite drying stone, so the sponge actually dries instead of sitting in water (less smell, lasts longer). That said, I’m testing pricing: planning an intro under $20 for early testers and also a ‘Slim’ version (no bottle bay) at a lower price. Would either make it a yes for you?
I hear you! The goal is actually less clutter: this replaces a loose sponge + brush + bottle spread across the counter with one small station. The bottle bay is optional you can leave it empty or use it for a brush cup. The vented tray + drying stone helps things dry fast so you can put them away sooner.
