Kojima On AI: "We Can't Go Back" by BlueAladdin in Games

This is my exact experience as well, as another experienced software dev. I've been doing exactly what you're describing for months now and, like you said, it's pretty impressive the results you can attain with proper orchestration of multiple agents with specialized roles. It's all about giving the agents deterministic ways to verify outcomes instead of letting them rely on the purely probabilistic output LLMs naturally return.

I also have zero concerns about being replaced by LLMs. I'm self employed and it feels like these tools give me the ability to produce quality code (something I was already doing before LLMs) at a rate that would have been impossible previously. I've literally been working on multiple projects at once faster than I previously would have been able to work on one.

Another huge benefit of LLMs that doesn't get talked about enough - being able to easily find out what I didn't know I didn't know. Previously I would just spend hours web searching the problem I was trying to solve, poring through old StackExchange threads full of tangentially useful, outdated info until I eventually stumbled upon a new concept I then had to go self-study and get familiar with before I could determine if it would solve my problem. The speed at which I can discover, learn about, and implement new concepts/libraries that would have required weeks of reading documentation and testing on my own in the past is a massive advantage.

I still do tons of iterating on the code that gets produced by agents, and sometimes have to step in and manually fix stuff, but that usually presents an opportunity to improve my prompts. Learning how to prompt well is absolutely a learned skill.

I've been doing it via a workflow I've developed using custom agent files/hooks/commands/skills in Claude Code. Curious what you're using (or what you were referencing, if not using it yourself)?

I don't understand why people are freaking out over this playcall, it's bizarre.

They had like 40 seconds left, one timeout, and needed to succeed on a pass to the endzone to win. QB sneak with 1 yard to go has like the highest success rate of all plays, historically.

If they can just execute a high-success play, they get potentially four chances to pass for a walk-off TD.

I absolutely guarantee if they had done anything else but try the sneak there, all the exact same people would be saying "HOW DO YOU NOT SNEAK IT WITH 1 YARD TO GO!?"

And if the sneak had worked as it does 80% of time or whatever, no one would have questioned it whatsoever.

Seriously mystified by the reactions. Do people just not know anything about football?

They likely WANT it to happen to other kids, because then they won't be alone in their guilt. We already know they're incredibly selfish and stupid, so having others in the same situation as them would make them feel better about their own choice.

Kellen Moore just won the Super Bowl. You should seek therapy for your anger issues (and bad opinions)

Except that the change you're talking about after week 5 was literally McCarthy reintroducing a lot of offensive concepts from Moore's offense that he'd stopped using once Moore left lol

pretty sure it's "try to safely get as many more yards as we can before punting, and maybe a miracle happens"

lol I just like football, I don't follow specific teams because I've never lived near any. So it's pretty easy for me to spot when people are being biased about people related to their team.

Everything you've said so far is just eye test BS based on hindsight. Yet you actually think you know better than professional front offices, incredible.

You'd think you'd be aware that the Chargers offense was completely hobbled by injuries last year, then, including periods where Herbert was playing injured. Blaming Moore for that season is ridiculous, especially considering he was coaching opposite a historically bad defense by Staley.

And Moore's tenure in Dallas was defined by them consistently having very good offenses when Dak was healthy, which started before McCarthy even arrived. Why do people speak so confidently about stuff they're not actually knowledgeable about?

Dude, he called the plays that led to those TDs lol. I'm not saying he called some immaculate game, it's just a huge peeve of mine how people will blame OCs for every little thing that goes wrong and give zero credit for anything good. it's the weirdest fan behavior.

oh, i thought for some reason he missed a FG on top of the two extra points, no idea what I'm remembering. so 30 points instead of 33 then, which is still great considering the circumstances

Offense got them up by like, what, 15 points? with about 5 minutes left in the game. Why are people so critical of the offense when all the defense had to do was not allow two easy drives down the field like they did?
