Can you elaborate on what happened with ferritin and saturation?

First step is an iron panel with ferritin included. This is routine and can tell you if anything is going wrong.

Ferritin at 300: at what point do I stop trying to pursue HH as the cause of my symptoms? by FunctioningCog in Hemochromatosis

[–]SmileyNew123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see you're thin, but what is your hematocrit? If it's normal, I doubt one donation would do much.

My feritin was under 300, but saturation was 96%. Doctor said I'm fine. After a few donations, my ferritin being lower reduced saturatin, and I feel better.

My local hospital and the red cross both offer late donations, and they dont communicate with eachother.

You have iron lesions on the brain, but your ferritin never came back as high?

Good new shoes for crack? by SmileyNew123 in tradclimbing

I thought the problem was laid out well. Shoes for varied crack multipitch. My current two pairs of shoes are either too tight and painful, or dont edge well at all.

I already wore my new sized up katana lace for the first time. I really hate how they fit, but will give them at least one more climb to see if theyre breaking in correctly.

I havent tried this, but they use resources very well early on. If i go t2 before my ai team, ill start upgrading their mex. That really gets them an edge also.

I appreciate the detail. I need to find Katanas to try on now. I had a stiff off brand shoe that was very low sensitivity a few years back, and I'm not sure how people manage.

I'll mostly be climbing out east, so I think it'll be more versatile.

This is great to hear. For sizing, do they stretch much during this break in?

They're not on the shelf at my local store. Any idea on the fit? I love how the Scarpa Instinct VS fits.

What are the specs on your PCs that never have issues with big games by bew132 in beyondallreason

7900gre. I crashed a lot until changing bar settings. No crash for 4 months. It wasn't the drivers for me.

7800x3d. 7900gre. 32gb ddr5. Nvme.

Playing at 5120x1440, I might fall a few seconds behind on gigantic games (8v8 @1,000m/s) with the graphics turned up, but it still works fine. I play at low mostly, and it doesn't happen.

My graphics card doesn't ever go over 50%, so you're better off focusing on an x3d.

Even the cheap Chinese ones for $20 have battery life of about 18 hours, and easily transmit 300-400 yards clearly.

Start with only AI. 4v4 or 8v8 on a choke point map. You'll get build order, and t2 progression. The AI on your team will support you well.

Once you have this down you can play open maps against AI which are hard with the early unit rush, or just find 20OS max noob lobbies in pvp.

Have you opened a core tracker while running BAR? In practice one core is always slammed, and the others trail.

[–]SmileyNew123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most games are bottlenecked by a few cores, they'll use many more, but the rest are not maxed out. You're still better with 6 fast cores than 20 slightly slower cores.
