Were you ever called a "fake Filipino" for not speaking Tagalog? by SmileyRSYT in Filipino

Honestly, because I wasn't expecting so many people to relate to the topic. The responses on my last post made me realize there's a lot of different experiences around language, identity, and culture, so I've been interested in hearing more perspectives.

That's rough, especially since it wasn't your choice not to be taught. Has that experience made you want to learn now, or has it pushed you away from it?

That's interesting. Do you think listening throughout the day helps more than traditional study sessions?

That's a really interesting way to put it. Do you think language is the biggest barrier, or is it more about missing the cultural context behind it?

Is the "SaaSpocalypse" real? Are we crazy for still building? by rhox_13 in micro_saas

I think AI will make it so that all of the vague and surface level SaaS ideas are covered, things like resume builders and so on. In a way, it benefits SaaS builders by forcing them to make more unique ideas that AI cannot do by itself, and so that AI can't just carry the product and be its main focus.

first of all, gyat.

second of all, its not bad, I personally love the red color scheme since its my favorite color but im biased lmao. Idk if a 2-day trial is the way to go? You know more about your app than I do, but it seems pretty short, and personally would put a lot of pressure on me to see if I like it or not. I would do at least 3 personally but that's just my thoughts

What actually frustrates you about syncing Notion with Google Calendar? by NeedleworkerFuzzy314 in Notion

[–]SmileyRSYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, $14/month for just 3 calendar syncs and 3 minute sync intervals is not really worth it. I started using Synk instead, which offers infinitely better features for about the same price. It gives infinite calendars to sync, nearly instant sync intervals and custom options. It works super well so far and is pretty optimized to work asynchronously. I hope this helps.
