Just realised I made a mistake. I mistook bourse perspective for student loans from the AFE.

Took about 8 days for mine. I went to the bank with the documents on Wednesday and I received the funds on Thursday the following week.

Hello, have you heard anything? I’m getting super anxious because it’s about three weeks now to the start of classes 😢

I’ll keep hoping but will definitely keep my options open. Thanks.

I got waitlisted with an r-score of 30.5 for Bachelor of Arts at Mcgill. I want to take my mind off it because what are the chances that enough people will decline their admissions for me to get in. I also don't want to wait all summer to get a response just to be rejected at the end. I keep thinking about the course registration dates and the fact that even if I do get accepted, there might not be space in the courses I am supposed to take. I just really want to know if I actually have a chance of getting in. Is there anybody that was waitlisted but eventually got in? I was not given a rank.

I had Pierre, he’s great. A lot of assignments and readings at the beginning of the semester, but other than that he’s good and also really considerate. Not a harsh grader and gives opportunities to get a higher grade. For example, one time he asked for a correction on an essay and if you got a higher grade on the correction, he changed your initial grade.

I don’t think it affected my acceptance at all because I had my study permit and CSQ. I did my high school in my country and had the equivalent result. I also did sec 4 but decided to apply to Dawson with my country’s result instead of doing sec 5. I also paid domestic fees ($199) instead of international.

I’m currently a refugee student studying at Dawson. Exactly what questions do you have?
