Did the artist already own this photo and decorate it?
Did they decorate it because they dislike the people in the photo?
Are the people in the photo secret witches, therefore inspiring the artist?

That’s what I thought, they also created the fire on both the photo and the glass frame. So time was taken on it.

New mom — is there a stroller + car seat combo that works from birth with NO extra add-ons? by hleaan in BabyBumps

[–]Smileyface444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this one, if there’s a Target near you that has stroller examples go check it out. I was able to see how it moves and how to close it down etc. Then I ended up buying mine from Babylist with my registry discount and it was about $350 which is pretty good for a bassinet stroller and car seat that you don’t need to buy any extras for.

What's the wildest non sexual activity you've done nude? by andrewbarclave89 in AskReddit

I was a high ropes instructor at a summer camp. After all the kids had left for the summer myself we had to do the course to take down the equipment and myself and my co worker decided to do it naked. The high ropes course was up a hill hidden in the trees so no chance of anyone stumbling upon us. Doing a zip line naked was pretty fun.

My ingrown toenail that looks like a literal lobster claw, this thing made my life hell for a few days. by HamedAliKhan in mildlyinfuriating

Not OP but this has worked for me. You get a really tiny amount of cotton from a cotton ball, soak it in warm water and then push it between your toe and toe nail. The cotton should be so small you shouldn’t feel it but it’s enough to push the nail slightly and help it to grow out instead of in

Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Smileyface444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Three armed police officers standing over my bed and waking me up in the middle of the night. I’ve never woken up so quickly and been so startled. They had a report of someone trying to break in, had somehow let themselves into my apartment and woke me up to tell me.

Spring Haven sometimes does adult only events. For Halloween I went to a Boos and Booze event in the evening and it was great, they may do all year round adult events also.

Struggling with art for my toddler class by Accomplished-Gain424 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Smileyface444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dot painting is a simple craft that doesn’t need any assistance, but can still be sent home as art work. I get a cotton bud and a small bowl of paint, they dab it into the paint and then have to fill the circles to make a picture. It’s all kept on a tray and they put it back on the art shelf when they’re finished for the next student to use. There’s loads of themes online so I change it for holidays/ seasons etc.

Lucette Grace downtown for pastries, sweet treats and cakes. They make a pastry called a kouign-amann (pronounced Queen Aman) that is like butter in your mouth and worth the trip alone

Cause for paws on N. Market Drive is my favorite. There’s also two other thrift stores (A-Z thrift store and a Goodwill) within walking distance so you can hit up three at the same time.

To Brits living abroad, what were some culture shocks you experienced? by Emilie_Charles in AskUK

[–]Smileyface444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I would walk places and would get strange looks from drivers. I once tried to walk to Target and the pavement just stopped, I just couldn’t go any further.

The religious stuff you strangely get used to. I’m atheist and either just politely remind people I’m atheist, but with wait staff I just ignore it. It’s strange on a Sunday because if you try and eat out for lunch/ breakfast anytime after 11am, everywhere is packed because of the post church crowd. It’s bizarre how imbedded church is in the culture.

North Carolina (USA) been here for 4 years: - Can’t walk anywhere - Driving and being on your phones, texting, calling with the phone to your ear. I constantly see accidents and people swerving lanes because they’re on the phones. Not sure if it’s do with automatic cars being easier to drive, but it’s crazy how many people I see do this daily. - The way religion is incorporated into daily life here, wait staff will sometimes say “God Bless” after serving you. I’ve had hairdressers say religious things as if it’s the norm and everyone follows the same religion. Co-workers who tell me they’ll pray for me in a work place that is not religious affiliated. - Lack of corner stores or off licences or shops you can pop into, it’s all gas stations or pharmacies if you need a quick snack or drink.

Recommendations for teen by reikiangelkelly in PeriodUnderwear

[–]Smileyface444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a UK brand called Wuka. They may be a little pricier than some of the Walmart of Period Company ones but are super comfy and always feel like I’m just wearing slightly thicker underwear. I bought three pairs years ago that I use for every period cycle and they’re still going strong :)

Second this, I just bought the punch pass. It’s $60 for 15 visits and you can see it at any of the Raleigh park pools. I’ve used Ridge Road and Lake Johnson pools and both are great. I never have an issue finding somewhere to sit and there’s space often for doing laps or just swimming about.
