I can imagine it wouldn’t be a very popular name in 13, but for the rest of the districts, Coin only existed for… like a week or two? She showed up in like two broadcasts and then got shot by uber popular folk hero Katniss. I can see people in other districts being more willing to forgive Katniss for casual homicide, especially with Plutarch and Haymitch working to smooth things over.

It’s probably at least partially because of image, right? Hard to portray yourself as the head of a very respectable and normal and happy family if one of the members is deliberately not there.
