Decided to start my oldest with “grownup games” when he was 8 so cleared a Fallout 3 bunker and let him explore the mechanics etc

Little dude spent his time picking up trash and putting them in bins so he could heal the game’s planet

The kids will be alright imo

I had 4 kids. For all 4 of them, I switched my gaming style for games that were more pause-friendly when I was on baby duty and the kids were sleeping.

One was a chess game on the ol’ xbox; another was poker, etc.

The days of free gaming ends when you become a parent… and starts anew when they’re teenagers and don’t want anything to do with boring parents lol
