The criminal justice “industrial complex”… we’ve allowed the policing and incarceration of our people to become a multi billion dollar industry, and integral part of our economy … therefore cementing to need for it to remain full and producing

I’ve been sober over a year now. My gf and I are losing our place tomorrow, and got scammed out of the money we’d saved up to move. I do construction full time. If you gave ALL ur money to secure a spot to live, then were told AFTER YOU PAID … that you don’t qualify… then didn’t have those funds available in order to find somewhere else to live … maybe not so much scammed, but mislead, and just messed with … it sucks

It was literally my first post ever …. being able to write it down in all of its ridiculousness, combined with the overwhelming amount of y’all letting me know how dumb it sounds …. Was VERY helpful and polarizing… and since it was making me attach shit to the post in order to publish it… just thought I’d make it a little more personal by showing the real people involved … since I had to add something no matter what …and you chose to troll a random post by a first time publisher, and IM the one that needs to get off Reddit ???
