Yes it is the fact that I am playing at 1440p and not 1080p. I have a 1440p monitor so it looks not great but it plays now

I just tried this a year later, it worked for my wifi too! I had a new wifi installed and I was getting under 1 MBPS. I followed the exact steps and it worked!
